I cannot begin to say how wonderful my stay with Oliver and Hele at Tedinkoto Lodge was. Truly, words cannot do justice. The room, pool, and compound were lovely. The best bed, bathroom and sitting area I experienced during my month in West Africa. And each morning, sitting outside my room to watch the birds was the perfect start. Followed by a delicious breakfast and off into town or to the beach. Do yourself a favor and eat your way through all their dinner options. Because, again, this food is as good as five-star restaurants but served in a quiet, serene setting. I only stayed one week, but I will be back soon. If you haven't booked your trip to The Gambia and your stay at this lodge, do it right now. I have stayed all over the world and this has been one of the top experiences in lodging ever. The hosts will go beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. Fantastic hospitality combined with great food and a perfect location!

Pa Ous/ Mr Cool, the ladies are Ndey Kinteh, Sukai and Aisha. Ndey coordinated everything I needed with professionalism,grace and friendliness. She's the perfect host. The ladies Sukai which is a great cook and Aisha who has a smile that will light up a cloudy day kept my apartment clean and in order. The driver pa ous was available and prompt everytime I needed to be somewhere with friendly expert service. His car was always clean inside out and running top notch. I would stay here again . The surrounding area is filled with banks,shops, stores markets, restaurants small dining places and entertainment just walking distance from sonko holiday apartments. I hated leaving the staff because they felt like family I've been knowing for years. I'll miss them dearly and they'll always be my home away from home.

Good value for the price. Lovely setting right up from the beach. The staff was super helpful. The kitchen stayed open for us, and the food was quite good. We felt at home there. The beach is beautiful and there's a nice, casual restaurant/bar right at the entrance to the beach which is a great hangout.
