The hotel is run by a really wonderful family. Their care and attention are unmatched in our experience. This was our second stay and we weren't disappointed. Breakfast, views, pool etc. are all wonderful. If there is anything at all out of place, they will always make an effort to put it right. In fact, they go out of their way to assist and advise.

Just 100 metres from Souda Port, the family-run Parthenon Hotel is 4.5 km from the centre of scenic Chania Town.

Highly recommend Royal Sun Chania. The hotel was beautiful and all the staff were amazing. We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially the lady at the reception desk unfortunately I cannot remember her name. The shuttle to and from the old town was great and all drivers very friendly and chatty. Our room was beautiful with an amazing view, very comfortable bed and the house keeping were very good, new towels and water in the room everyday. The location is perfect. Will definitely return to Chania and stay at Royal Sun again

Lena is lovely and the most amazing hotel host ever! I didn't get up for breakfast but my partner did, said it was excellent and Lena offered to put together some food and drink for me! She's very attentive and really cares about her guests. She even gave us gifts of olive oil and tea to take away! There were welcome gifts of wine and bottled water too. We're not wine drinkers, but Lena offered another free bottle of wine for our 2nd night if we wanted it! When we checked in, she gave us a choice of different rooms too. Parking was easy- right on the street in front of the accommodation and there was always a spot available. Handy supermarket just next door and a great burger place just 7 mins walk away. The room (26) was clean and comfortable with a good bathroom. The view from the balcony was incredible- great sunsets. For the price we paid, it really was exceptional! Thanks, Lena! We'd love to stay again.

I had an excellent stay at this brand new, beautifully designed apartment in Chania. The host was extremely friendly, meeting us on arrival and explaining everything we needed to know. Its convenient location made exploring the area easy. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Chania! If you enjoy the thrill of staying in a brand new place, this accommodation is perfect. The apartment is spotless and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. It has two spacious and comfortable terraces, perfect for relaxing.
