Great place for relaxing and peaceful holidays. Private access to beach for hotel guests only and enough sunbeds for everyone. Crystal clear water is perfect for snorkeling. We definitely recommend water shoes. Beach bar and surrounding of the beach is very beautiful. Great breakfast. Superb staff/service. Great cocktails, but a bit too expensive. Extraordinary garden, plants, flowers, trees. You really feel comfortable there. No huge hotel buildings next to the hotel. We will come back to Aquagrand.
Offering 2 outdoor pools, Lindos View Hotel overlooks Lindos Town. It features air-conditioned accommodation . Free WiFi is available in the business centre.

Everything was superb, we loved very single minute we stayed. We will be back next year, food excellent, staff excellent and the spa is the best I have ever been to.

The Old village (houses and a primary school only) is West of the busy, main Rhodes-Lindos road, with newer hotel developments, restaurants, cafes, an expensive supermarket, a pharmacy and beach to the Eastern side. Location is good for exploring the mountains and along the Eastern coast (so sunrises, moonrises but no sunsets). The beach is grey, rough sand but the loungers are fine and the Southern beach bar is welcoming. Water sports and a military camp are entertainment options.
An excellent restaurant we found was the family-run Milos Restaurant near the Northern end of the beach. I'd recommend a rental car or local buses, since most will quickly tire of this small village's charms, however, the local taxis are truly extortionate (20-25 EUR one-way to Lindos @ 4 miles away versus 16 EUR/day for a cheap car rental).
A stray cat-lover's paradise.

Kalathos is not a particularly pretty town but it's got everything you need and lots of really good restaurants and a great beach. The beach is shingly/stony but the water is clear and beautiful. The cafe/taverna on the beach is excellent!

Kalathos is a quiet resort with a few Tavernas - we tried Stefanos, Konstantin and Milos. All good but Konstantin was probably our favourite. There is a small grocery store (no fresh counters though). The pebbly beach is great and actually very comfortable for sunbathing. We did not use sea shoes and had no problem. There are a couple of small watersports businesses on the beach for jet ski, kayak and motor boat hire. The bus is convenient and regular and takes you to Rhodes town in under and hour and to Lindos in 10 mins. You can go further afield too by bus but we didn't try that.

We stayed in a villa quite away up a hill the view was so worth it.
We were within good travelling distance to many of the resorts Charaki, Lindos, Pefkos which we visited whilst we were there.
There is plenty of public transport around the island, however, on this occasion, we hired a car which gave us freedom and the opportunity to explore.
There are a few restaurants in Kalathos, our favourite was the "On the Road" lovely food and lovely hosts.
The supermarket was not too far to drive to, although parking is an experience there in their car park. (The best way to describe it is free for all)
Room was very spacious and clean with lovely views of gardens and pool. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. We loved Kalathos as it is not as busy as other places but had excellent choices of restaurants nearby if you prefer to eat outside the hotel complex.
And last, but not least, we loved the manager of the hotel who has a lovely sense of humour. Like Virgil Van Dijk, he is a class act!
The room was upgraded, the staff was very friendly and kind. Breakfast was great' rich and can fit anyone's taste, as well as well as dinner at some of the hotel restaurants. we wanted to mention especially two in the staff - Gabriella, who initiated some of the upgrades and extras we've got, and Eleni Karaginni (receptionist) who was very helpful on anything that we needed.
The hotel has many lovely pools, wonderful clean beach (quite!), the room is comfortable and nice. The breakfast was just great, huge choice, lovely service, lovely atmosphere. The management is very involved in looking after the guests, they are always available for help. The entertainment is first class as well.
The house is amazing, very modern and newly built. It is very well equipped with everything and is huge. The host was super nice, we even got welcome gifts from them. The town of Kalathos is a small, less busy part of Rhodes, perfect for kids/family but make sure you have a car because you'll need that.
Daniels apartments, are an absolute pleasure to stay in. Luxurious apartments, in a wonderful location to explore the southern areas of the Island. If you prefer a day not travelling around, its also the perfect place to relax by the pool or Kalathos beach is a 5 minute walk.
Everything. Great atmosphere, food, pool/bar, and the best staff. Short walk to a nice beach/beach bar, supermarket, other restaurants, etc. Located in a small relaxing area and close to Lindos. I loved that the hotel wasn’t too commercial and ran by the nicest family.
The view over Kalathos was amazing
The villa was well-equipped and the pool was regularly cleaned
The grounds in which the Villa is set are well maintained.
Rooms are bright and airy with air-conditioning which is much needed once the temperatures ramp up.
Atrium Palace is the best hotel that I ever visited, I like there hospitality and there big rooms and of course I don’t want to forget the food, they have big collections all fresh and clean , they have a very nice beach and very clean.
Person to meet you upon arrival and show you around the villa. The option to have some groceries delivered he’d of your arrival was very welcome as we arrived let evening. Access to hotel and waterpark was a real bonus
