Good amenities, excellent service, and well outfitted rooms located steps from old town.
We stayed here our last night in Crete to catch our flight the following morning. We had to return our rental car at 10 AM and the hotel was very accommodating by allowing us with an early check in time. Nice large lobby, a medium sized pool tucked away nicely in the back, and a great buffet breakfast with a large selection.
Our room was lovely!! Very luxe finishings, large bathroom, couch, and desk area.
Would definitely stay here again.
Pro tip: if you are a light sleeper request a room facing the inner courtyard.

Absolutely beautiful historic buildings. Our room was spacious and characterful with a balcony and sea view. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was lovely and the breakfast room is stunning with a fabulous balcony overlooking the old port.

The breakfast was great and so was the location. The staff was very helpful with giving local recommendations and had an amazing attitude each and every time.
Scala de Faro is located in the Chania Old Town in Chania Town, 328 feet from the Archaeological Museum of Chania. All rooms come with a TV.

the breakfast was amazing, outstanding -- and different every day (very creative). All Staff were so kind, helpful. Reception staff were outstanding, so welcoming, helpful throughout out visit. Very good with recommendations, from where to eat, to parking. They consistently went above and beyond expectations. We enjoyed absolutely every interaction with them, they made our visit such a positive experience.
Didn’t stay long enough to review the local area. The hotel is close to a disused velodrome. The building of it was never finished. I guess money ran out but they are hopeful it will be completed one day.
