Had a room with a sea view and a balcony, it was large and comfy, slept like a baby.
It is located in the heart of the city on the beach side so you may hear some noise perhaps during the high season but it was super calm now in March.

The front desk manager, Stepo, Anna and the restaurant manager Gabriella were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. During our trip to Croatia and Italy, we stayed in 6 different hotels, including 5 stars hotel and Plaza Duce still the best!
Located a short distance from the beach in Nemira, Hotel Villa MiraMar is located 1.9 mi from the center of Omiš.

Small place, too crowded, everything walkable.
Many supermarkets, restaurants and shops.
Some tourist attractions, impossible to visit in the hot water, for example to climb to the castle on the top of the mountain.
Rafting on Cetina river was amazing.
One can take boat trip on the Cetina canyon.
The beach is open, with umbrellas and sunbeams too. Clean water to swim.

We picked Omis because of the activities that were available there and we were not disappointed. We did rafting, a speedboat tour to the blue cave and some islands, ziplining, trip to Krka National park and jet skis. We were going to do canyoning but decided on a beach day instead. If/when we return we will also do a boat ride up the river and hire a boat and go across to some islands. Our 17 year old sun did not get bored! The old town is lovely, although very busy. There are many restaurants that were all very nice. Most sold the same sorts of food consisting of a range of meat and fish/seafood dishes as well as pasta and pizza. Some of them specialised a bit but we all ate well every night for a reasonable price. There are also a few souvenir shops and shops selling beach items.
Be aware fruit is expensive at the stalls. One nectarine was 3 euros. We spent 38 euros on 4 nectarines, 2 plums, 1/4 watermelon and some grapes and a significant amount had to be thrown away. Other than that the food is reasonably priced with several small supermarkets throughout Omis.
Whilst a guide on one of our trips considered the beaches to be sandy, they are not what we think of as sandy- more shingle mixed with sand. Think builders sand. Saying this, the beaches were clean and the sea is crystal clear and we still spent time there and would return.
You can pay by card in the restaurants and supermarkets but the activities, food stalls and small shops were cash only. Not a problem in itself but we wished we had gone prepared for this as it meant we had to take cash out of the ATM a few times.
Public toilets cost 1 euro to use. This can add up if your out for the day and there are a few of you.
Overall a great place to be. we would recommend and return here.

Omis is an amazing location for people (singles, couples or families) who are looking to explore Croatia's amazing country side by doing as little or as much as you want. There is an abundance of activities which are aimed at varying levels of fitness with some activities more suited to those adrenaline junkies. Would recommend visiting during the summer time but would still be amazing during autumn or spring.

Good place to stay if you don't like crowded tourist places.
Good place to stay if you don't like crowded tourist places. The city is charming. It has everything one may need - historical Old Town, sunny beaches, restaurants and cafes, magnificent mountains and river.
Its location is good to explore the surroundings.
This place is really very nice. We visited Omis after peak season for climbing. Almost everything was closed in Omis's city centre. In our surrounding everything was open - shops, bars and everything was within walking distance - beach, city centre, rocks ... Parking was very easy, there is a parking spot right in front of the apartment. The apartments was equipped with comfortable beds and blankets, perfectly equipped kitchen with lot of utensils and you could pick tangerines in the garden. We can highly recommend this place.
Really cool apartments. Found it accidentally, at the same moment when someone cancelled their booking. The host told, that apartments are usually booked in advance.
The apartments were really cosy. We found everything we needed. The host was helpful. There is a free parking place. Beach and the grocery shop is really close. Nice pool
I put everything in video, hopefully it will be helpful. This video could be found on youtube channel "MBVD Channel". Video name "Apartments Nemira Exclusive | Omiš, Croatia".
We spend the weekend in the apartment and would certainly recommend it. The property seemed brand new and was beautify decorated. The location was perfect for us, it was a walking distance to the town, the town beach and the zipline centre (the Omis zipline was the absolute highlight of the trip). The stunning view of the mountains was an added bonus! The property was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Marijana was an amazing host, she showed us around the apartment and gave us great recommendations.
Matea, who was the owner of the property was fantastic. She communicated very clearly about the check in procedure, parking, etc. She gave us great recommendations for dining, shopping, and places to explore in Croatia as we continued our travels. The accommodations were conveniently located to everything in Omis (restaurants, bus stops, shopping, beach, climbing and hiking trails). The room had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
we really enjoyed the views around the hotel, as well as the location itself. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices and (again) that wonderful view from the terrace was the highlight.
The furnishing of the rooms could maybe use a little interior design update - but it was very clean and we slept well in the bed. We liked it overall very much and would come only to this hotel if in Omiš again. Also the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
We definitely recommend it!
Very clean rooms,
the owners are absolutely kind and helpful. In the rooms are wardrobes. You can wash your clothes and dry them in the balcony. The kitchen is well equipped, the parking is in the front of building free. Omis old city is about 30 min walk, Beach Brzet (by the Baywatch Bar) is about 15 min and I think it is better than the popular sand beach. Highly recommended apartment.
This stay was the best so far in Croatia. We felt like we are at home. Awesome and caring owners. The apartment was super clean and beautiful.
No tourists or noises around, beach is down the street (usually we were alone there since it’s not a tourists place) and a local store and restaurant was like 2 minutes away.
We recommend this place 100%!
We just stayed for one night, the apartment was really nice and big. In the kitchen you have everything you need (big fridge, microwave). I did not book an apartment with view because the one night stay, but you should, we watched the sunset and it was increadible. The owner was the nicest guy we met all over our holiday in Croatia.
I cant thank enough. The host Renata is so kind and so helpful. Feels like family. The apartment is superb. Everything u need is there. The location is superb. Near to bus stop, supermarket and many more. The apartment is locaated in Omis` a small town about 20km to Split city. Very nice place to stay. Highly recommended. ❤
We enjoyed absolutely everything. These apartments were the best place to stay in all of Croatia. The landlord was very kind, helpful and helped with all possible questions. The apartments have everything thought of. Cozy terrace, wonderful location and sea view. Top recommendations.
Wonderful, peaceful location. A 3 bedroom bungalow with pool. We enjoyed our stay here. Fresh mountain air. Away from crowds. Easy access to Omis, and some wonderful restaurants along the river and on the mountains. The kind of place you can just stay and relax. Very friendly owners.
A great, modern hotel in the heart of Omis! Very clean and an exceptional breakfast offering loads of choice. I really enjoyed the extra facilities such as the gym and private spa for an hour inc steam, sauna and jacuzzi for less that 11 pounds! Greatly recomended!
Where to start, it was excellent. Starting with the friendly reception and awesome waiters. The food in the Hotel was amazing and the location was perfect.
In case we will come back to Omis we will definitely stay again in the hotel. Totally recommend!!!!!!
The apartment was great, it met our expectations. Location super good. The hosts were super. They helped us with the luggage and also took us for a little boat trip. Thanks, if we come back to Omis we will return here for sure! Plaza Brzet was top!
I’ve never been in better hotel in Croatia. I recommend this hotel to everybody. Nice hotel, great staff and perfect brakefast… p.s. If you are there, order cocktail by the pool and enjoy 😊
The hotel is nicely located and has a great view of the town. I would probably stay again and get a balcony again. Wine on the balcony with that view is not to be missed.
