The hotel is in a very nice area and has access to a great beach. It also offers lots of activities for its guests during the day. The pools seemed nice, but since we were there off season, we didn't swim.

We stayed at Jadranka apartments for 3 nights and we only wished we could stay for a longer time! Everything was amazing - from our hosts to the apartment itself. Every detail of the apartment is well thought out, decorated with affection and very comfortable. The location is great for exploring the Paklenica area and Velebit in general. We highly recommend this apartment and will definitely come back!

Starigrad Paklenica is an interesting blend between sea and mountain, a place like no other.. You can enjoy what the sea has to offer you, boat trips, snorkeling, etc, and furthermore, having a nice hike in the mountains, maybe climbing up the walls in the National Park, where you can find the climb experts waiting to teach you how to safely walk up the walls...
You can really find here good food, nice people and beautiful places like Vecka Kula Beach, Riviera Paklenica, Velebit National Park, Cernovac Caves and the rest of them, I invite you to discover yourself traveller..

Hated that Booking did not state that our Apartment was next to a late night dance club. Wanted a quite stay in a quiet place next to the sea but was rudely kept up late into the night. When I want a party Vacation I may come back to Starigrad Paklenica, but unfortunately this trip was for peace and quiet so I would avoid Starigrad Paklenica for those who want a Peaceful and Elegant Croatian trip down the Jadranska Magistrala.

You have mountains (hiking) and the seaside (swimming) in the same location. Nearby it's a natural park Paklenica well worth visiting. The main road wasn't too busy so the place is quiet enough.

The city is without any historic center.
The city is without any historic center. It riminded me more of a typical Spanish tourist resorts, which is a reason I do not go for holiday to Spain but to Croatia. This is not a typical historic small Croatian town like Stari Grad on Hvar, otok Rab or bigger cities.

Great place for hikers, climbers and nature lovers.
Great place for hikers, climbers and nature lovers. Small and calm town/ village close to NP Paklenica. Perfect opportunity for all those who want to avoid crowds and wish to experience Croatia in a bit different way (hiking tours or climbing instead of spending time on the beach).

It was the corona season, so not overcrowded by tourists on the beach. Everything worked (shops, restaurants, bars etc). As always, Starigrad is near a big mountain and a national park where you can go hiking and rock climbing + cycling or MTB-ing. But negative part of it is that because of the wind from the mountain + underwater streams, the sea can be rather cold.
It's a good place for families, for long walks...
Great experience for a reasonable price. The crew was amazing: supportive, friendly, ready to help and advise, always smiling. The room was perfectly clean, fresh bed sheets, AC high level. Breakfast of couple choices, sufficient. Restaurant opened all day, best choice around for lunch or diner. We tried variety of dishes and every single one was delicious, well cooked, seasoned with perfection. Beach at the back of the hotel, clean and not too crowded. I definitely recommend this hotel!
Amazing location only a few minutes walk from the national park and 5 minutes to restaurants & supermarket. Excellant and good value if you're here for hiking/rock climbing. There is a hotel nearby, Hotel Rajna that will rent mountain bikes, rock climbing gear etc. Room was quiet, larger than expected, with a good kitchen & bathroom and bed was comfy. host was friendly but spoke no english, not a problem though.
Our stay was amazing, the house is very clean with new furniture and all the supplies. Great kitchen and fantastic terrase with a large table where we had breakfast every day. We also used the pool and jacuzzi which completed perfectly our day after climbing. I highly reccomend this accomodation. 10/10 and 5stars rating for us! The best place we stayed in during our trip through Croatia :)
The owners were the best! They were so sweet and generous and it was fun to try and speak to them in croatian. He helped me when my booking for the next Night needed to get changed and I didn't have a phone to call. We shared snacks together and lots of smiles. The room was very clean and a good size, beautiful view from the balcony. Right near to the national park and beach.
The mobile homes are cosy, clean and modern. Air conditioning is a must. The plot is small and fenced. The advantage is the shops and restaurants just a few dozen meters from the place. However, the nearest beach is quite small (the beach at the nearby hotel is unfortunately private). Večka Kula beach is nice, there are shady spots and a nice cafe.
The accommodation is very clean, so it is pleasant to stay there. Location is near Paklenica national park, so you could spend some time hiking. Beach is pretty close, like 5 min on foot, and not really crowded. There is also nice playground there for kids. Though it is not sandy as in mostly places in Croatia.
The host was lovely! She offered us garden fresh tomatoes and figs, and we were able to communicate with her limited English and my very limited Croatian. The room was good sized with a kitchen and a large balcony. It was walking distance to many restaurants and beach areas.
Great, simple hotel. Room and toilet were like news. Beautiful view to the sea from the room and it's balcony. There's also a nice common terrace with sea view too. 2 mins walk to the beach and easy 15 minutes walk to the city center. Very nice owner.
An okay hotel (in a good sense). Nothing really special about this hotel. If you are looking for a place to sleep then this one will do. I mean, you'll get a good night sleep but you'll forget the hotel the moment you leave it. Breakfast was great!!!
The hotel is in a very nice area and has access to a great beach. It also offers lots of activities for its guests during the day. The pools seemed nice, but since we were there off season, we didn't swim.
The location of this hotel is just in the entrance of Pakkenica National Park. The price is pretty reasonable, and the owner is hospitable. Also they offer laundry service which is really helpful.
Very clean, new and superb apartment. Few minutes walk to the beach or mountains. Owner met with wine, fruits and coffee, tea. Private parking. One of the best stays in Croatia.
The staff was ok, good view from the balcony. Close to a supermarket and the beach, if you can call it a beach...smaller rocks and the sea. I guess that's most of Croatia
Perfect location, walking distance to the city, hotel very nice with very kind staff.
Animation, sport facilities and very good breakfast, dinner.
Nice bar.
