The location, the welcome and the design/feeling at the Hotel was exemplary. Very friendly staff greeting us and a warm, comfortable vibe in the lobby area made us feel at home quickly. We had a nice room on the 1st floor that was super cozy and nicely decorated - bed was very nice to sleep on :) Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and delicious.

Staying at Akkeri for a week in early March was wonderful. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Our host was very helpful and made sure all the guests were taken care of. I liked that we had refrigerator space and all the utensils and dishes we needed to make our own breakfast and lunch, with tables to eat at. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were always available. We were also able to have a load of laundry done at a reasonable price. And we loved Stykkisholmur!

Most friendly of hosts. Answered super fast and dealt with our questions promptly. As we arrived we were greeted with a lovely scent in the house. The house was spacious, modern and cozy. Would definitely stay here again!!!
