Beautiful Seaside town, Extremeley friendly and helpful people. Even when language was a barrier they would find some one or we would use translate. Even bus drivers and train conductors were so helpful.

It´s a small town, within walking distance, and everything you need is around the corner.
We found the best hotel and also a bar/restaurant where we had drinks and dinner down on the beach directly on the sand.

Anzio is a quiet beach place with nice restaurants, a port , nice little shops and the historical ruins of Nero's palace at the sea. 50km from Rome it is the right place to stay if you would like to combine Rime visits and in between some beach breaks.

Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town.
Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town. Decent beaches, both free and paid.
A good starting point for hydrofoil travel to Ponza Island. From here there are hydrofoils that will take you there in an hour and a half. Other places only use regular cruise ships, but they offer a four-hour journey.
There are many good restaurants with local fresh fish and seafood as well as local wines.
A place worth staying for shorter and longer periods.

Pleasant surprise!
Pleasant surprise! We learnt that the beaches around Anzio are popular among people from the Rome region, so there are mostly local people. Long, very nice beach with clean water, shallow sea and fine sand.

if you want to stay near Rome and have the benefit of a cooler summer atmosphere and a beach holiday this it , far better than staying Ostia or Fiumicino. frequent trains air conditioned and an hours journey rome for targeted visiting.
Great location. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Room was spacious and clean as a pin. No dirty carpet like other hotels I've stayed at, rather it was tile. In fact the bathroom was done in marble tile! The view of the beach and the Tyrrhenian sea from the balcony was stunning. The staff was great. They were there to clean the room first thing each morning after you left your room. Security was also very good. The outside door was always locked and you had a key to come and go.
It’s a beautiful house. We had our room on the second floor with the balcony and great view. The room was big enough for 2 people. Owner of the mansion (his name is Angelo) was very helpful and friendly to us. He helped us to find the place and get there from the train station. The place is located near to beach about 2-3 minutes by foot. There are small market and pub near to house. The room looks like on the photo. Highly recommended to stay here 🙂👍
A place where you feel at home. The landlady is great and attentive. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, for the convenience of the guests. The flat is very clean! It's more than 5 stars)
Large terrace for breakfast and dinner
Near Anzio station - very convenient to get to, but the trains are quiet, you can't hear them, it's quiet at night. To the sea - close
Our holiday was great. Thanks to the owners.
Our stay was so lovely! The staff was very helpful and friendly even though we only speak a little italian. They always tried their best to suit our needs. Hotel premises are very clean. Room is small but very comfortable with nice bed and AC. Breakfast is fresh and you can ask for eggs and sausages. The distance from the sandy beach is just 3 minutes.
The location is great (about 10 minutes walk to the train station and then circa 1 hour train ride to Rome). The beach is also with the walking distance - around 15 minutes walk. There are also shops, bars and restaurants around. The host was super friendly and helpful. And the apartment is really spacious and cozy. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest!
property is right on the beach. it is an old fashioned Italian family hotel with all the advantages of that, but has no five star pretences at all. Most people will love it - others maybe not so much. The owners and staff put everything into it to make you feel comfortable.
Well appointed apartment in a large building, central location, easy walk to the beach Room nice size with small balcony with limited view of sea. Staff met us quickly. City was not too crowded. Good restaurant around the corner. Breakfast include at nearby cafe.
Stefano is a very friendly host, gave us a ride from/to the train station, shared with us lots of recommendations and local tips.
The house is spacious, well-equipped, comfortable and environment friendly. Good and quite location, great beaches nearby.
Very nice located, 3 min to the beach and only 10 min from the train station. Centrum also near.
Quite big room with own bathroom and own big terrace in front. Smart TV with Netflix.
Host very friendly and quickly reachable.
This hotel was absolutely perfect! A short walk from the train station, ocean views, and across from the beach. The pool was gorgeous and everything was spotless. We had a wonderful time and I look forward to returning.
Wonderful location just 100 m from downtown Anzio, many cafe and supernakets in procxmity. Pretty nice breakfast served to room by very hospitable personnel. A great Pizzeria just few steps outside hotel. Clean badclothes.
This location is very good. It gives you time to enjoy the outskirts of the city of Anzio, as well as the beautiful, sunny beaches.
Host is very friendly and helpful.
Recommend going here summertime for best experiences.
This was by far the best place to stay in Italy. The hosts were incredibly nice to us and made sure we would feel comfortable and feel like if we were at home.
We are very thankful to have met such nice people.
