Location was great! The breakfast was absolutely exceptional (made to order omelets, pancakes, pastries, cereal, cheeses, fruit, and more). The rooms were a little on the older side but these places are older - so it's to be expected. I would definitely return!!! (And will)

This was the best of our accommodations during our 2 week stay in Italy. Marta was amazing and provides shuttles and a good breakfast of granola, yogurt, fruit, pastries and even eggs, pancakes and cappuccino. The views were amazing and the rooms were very comfortable. I prefer a softer bed than what was in the room. However the pillows and linen were soft and comfortable.
Marta goes above and beyond what is necessary and always greeted us with a smile
I would definitely stay here again.
The b and b is up on a hill and a shuttle is provided but we walked back and forth without difficulty into the main part of town.

Attractive village, but split into two by headland (tunnel links the two). All amenities, but slightly spread out. Good (but when we visited, busy) train links to other Cinque Terre villages. Also boat links if weather ok. We found it an ideal base for exploring Cinque Terre, including walking the SVA (Blue Path), albeit walking is challenging. Scenery to die for.

The walk from Montorosso to Vanassari (SP) is very steep at each town with difficult steps.up and down. It is very beautiful but requires excellent balance and footwork for 300 meter of climbing at each town. The towns are special and the food is even better.

This is the place to stay if you have young kids.
This is the place to stay if you have young kids. We travelled with our 5 and 7 year old and we couldn't have picked a better place to go! Of the five towns, Monterosso al Mare has the best flat beaches that allowed my kids to skip rocks, search for sea glass and play in the water safely.
Very near the water is a playground that was clean and well taken care of. There were nice shops in the square with clean bathrooms and yummy treats we could snack on while the kids played.
A lot of people said that Monterosso wasn't as charming as the other towns, but it was pretty charming in the old part as we walked the streets nestled up past the playground.
We came in April and lucked out with weather. I could see how in the Summer it could get crowded and hot, but we felt like the crowds were minimal and the temperature was perfect.

Great town to stay at cinque terre if you come with familly.
Great town to stay at cinque terre if you come with familly. Was not all that touristy all things considered (as opposed to Vernazza, which was swarming with tourists). I would suggest to go out of season, because there is already a lot of people there (we went late november), I can't imagine what its like in July/august.

- Perfect location to visit Cinque Terre, easy to reach from the parking and also from the station
- Lovely room with balcony: bathroom was recently renovated and clean, room was spacious, balcony view was beautiful, the whole place is just super nice, they also have a lovely terrace at the entrance
- Service is great, all the ladies at the reception were amazing! Not common to find such good service in Italy (I’m Italian), everyone was very professional. Also the home-made breakfast was delicious.
Hotel Marina is a great location right in the town of Monterossa. Walking distance to all the shops and Osterias. breakfast is served on the upper deck under Lemon Trees and it was outstanding!. After Cruise tourist leave, the town is quaint and not so busy. Not a far walk from the train, which is how we arrived. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the Cinque Terre area.
Location is great just off the central strip in Monterosso. Great Breakfast inside or outside with Scrambled Egg or Omelotte if required. Plenty by way of cold cuts & cakes etc. if preferred. Lovely little Pizza place - Il Frantoio, available by the slice in the side street by the hotel, doing a roaring trade during the day - worth a slice at lunchtime.
Hotel La Spiaggia is just amazing. Nothing is 2 stars about it. Location is exceptional. The staff are friendly, its exactly as it looks in the pictures, beautiful and clean. The only reason it's a 2 star hotel is that they dont own a small section of the building. Yes the rooms are small. But who cares when you get the best location in monterosso
Hotel is well situated in Monterosso in a very quiet street but very close to restaurants and the beach about an 8 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast is great with a man excellent choice, fantastic table of sweets stuff and cakes. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Lovely wee bar and you can take your drinks to the 4th floor gardens.
We loved this hotel! I don’t think we could have found a better location in all of Cinque Terre. We so enjoyed sitting out on the veranda and listening to the waves and people watching. Breakfast each day was delicious and our server, Margarita, was so friendly, my kids wanted to bring her home with us!
Our room was perfect. It had a huge balcony with lounge chairs and table and chairs where we could see the water. The room was clean and very nice. It is also directly on the beach and main walkway which makes it very convenient. I also liked how very close to the train station it is.
Nice hotel with modern rooms located on the top of the hills away from the crowds, loads of parking spaces at the secure car park. Shuttle bus taking you to the nearest town of Monterosso at set hours is a big plus. And the best thing about the hotel - staff. Super nice and friendly :)
Great hotel in great location. There is a small refrigerator and tea pot in the room. The owner Albergo is very friendly, he gave us all the information about Monterosso and Cinque Terre, he helped us a lot. We are very thankful and definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.
Gabrielle was really friendly and helpful in explaining everything about the cinque terre.
The hotel is in a great location, a quick walk from the train station.
Lovely terrace and really good breakfast.
Next time I'll go to Monterosso I'll stay there for sure
Beautifully finished rooms with all the modern amenities you would want. Boutique hotel is in a great location just steps away from charming heart of Monterosso Al Mare. I would purposefully stay here again and would recommend the hotel to others.
Really useful and frequent shuttle bus service to & from the village. Hotel is located on a hillside, with stunning views of the Cinque Terre villages.
Breakfast was plentiful and varied, staff were all friendly and helpful.
It's a lovely little hotel in the centre of Monterosso. The owner and staff are ever so friendly! The rooftopterrace is lovely but could be even much more prettier if they organized it a bit more. The breakfast was great.
Location was perfect, right in Old Town Monterosso and an easy relatively flat walk from the train station. The hotel has a lift, a fabulous breakfast buffet and nice bar and outdoor seating areas.
We loved this hotel. Beautiful views of Monterosso from our balcony, very clean spacious room, really nice breakfast and a lovely little bar serving coffee and drinks!
