My room was cute with access to the lake terrace. I even had a bathtub and a multi jet shower. The bed for my personal taste could have been a little softer. Breakfast was simple and descent. Reception staff was amazing! What's important to know, is that you have limited access to the Hotel by car. The way there is very narrow and for smaller cars only at a certain time a day. It has car parks a little further away tho.

Beautiful location, room with lake view and large balcony terrace, comfortable and clean. Ate in restaurant two nights in a row, food very good, lovely setting and atmosphere and service excellent. Great hospitality at this hotel. Staff were personable and friendly and Alberto went out of his way to help us. We were very unfortunate with the weather as it rained when we were there but despite that we enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

A view to die for! Our balcony overlooked the lake with a view of the island. The decor is a bit dated but clean and perfectly functional.

Orta San Giulio is an authentic gem of a town on the banks of Lake Orta. Lots of cobbled streets, interesting shops, plenty of good places to eat or enjoy an aperitif. It doesn’t feel as touristy as some of the bigger towns on the larger lakes. Gorgeous medieval buildings and an amazing church. Well worth a visit.

Orta San Giulio is a little hidden gem in the North of Italy. I booked a bit by coincidence and I was very positively surprised. The old center is a very nice place to stroll around and the Piazza Motta is a great place to enjoy one of the terraces.

It is a lovey attractive lake with a very pretty island accessible by ferries from all sound the lakeside villages. San Giuliano is quite beautiful but is a victim of its success because it is difficult to access having to park some way out and walk and is of course very touristy. There are lots of narrow streets and boutiques and some super restaurants. A romantic place. The Venus restaurant was excellent right by the ferry port and the perfect setting for a cocktail and sumptuous meal.

Beautiful little town in the Italian lakes.
Beautiful little town in the Italian lakes. The town is perfect for a relaxed break. There is opportunity for watersports, restaurants and bars as well as swimming in the lake and hiking in the hills and mountains nearby.
You cannot park in the centre of town, so be aware that you will need to walk luggage down to your hotel if you are staying in the centre. We got the train in from Milan, which was very easy and a much cheaper option.

We had a really great stay at Aracoelie hotel
Firstly, the staff was very friendly. We had an important phone call before check-in time, and Eliana was very kind and helpful and did everything in her power to make it possible.
Furthermore, the hotel is located very central at a cosy square. We stayed in a superior double room and the room was very nice, specious and clean (We loved the balcony!!!). Also the breakfast was delicious and extensive.
Thank you for the amazing night
The location is perfect, in the historic center of Orta San Giulio, just steps to ferries, restaurants, cafes with a stunning view of Isla San Giulio. The apartment is quiet and fully equipped with all modern conveniences. We enjoyed cooking here. The hosts were friendly and exceedingly accommodating, even giving us a ride to the train station. We will return in summer to enjoy our own little deck for swimming in the lake.
The location of Hotel Bocciolo is wonderful - overlooking, but also elevated above Lake Orta. Breakfast was perfect, and we could sit outside and admire the view. Our room was private with a rear patio that, had we had more time, could have been great to use. Parking was perfect. We were able to walk down to the edge of Lake Orta within 3-4 minutes, and the view is incredible!! The staff were incredibly helpful.
Stylish period room in a quiet, vehicle-free backstreet, a 2 minute walk from the main plazza/port. Fabulous shops including a wonderful breakfast cafe, The Palace, and a lovely family restaurant Ca'Mea, both a minute away on foot. A great base to unwind.
Note, that this is a satellite building, with superb staff located at the Leon D'Oro Hotel in the main Plazza.
Nothing went well. We were switched from our original booking due to mechanical problems at the site. Then sent to another Piccolo site (Saint Catherines. This was totally charmless and a at a car's ride to the city centre. The room was complete devoid of any charm. The was no hot water, the room was cold and there were no blankets. Very Un
Where do I start... The rooms were glorious with beautiful antique furniture, the grounds were beautiful and historical, and the hosts have created a magical atmosphere here which feels like it's taken out of a movie. If you don't stay here while you're in Italy, the loss is truly yours, we will definitely be returning!
We knew already this hotel, we went back for its location just on the lake and the walking distance to the lovely village, the pool and the lake are both equally easy to access (we prefer swimming in the lake though!) and the parking in this location is certainly a plus!
The hotel was surprisingly excellent in so many ways - location is easily accessible, very friendly and courteous staff, lovely breakfast, beautiful, comfortable room with very a peaceful view! I love everything about this place. Highly recommended.
Very nice cozy hotel in the centre of the town. The breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, with a wonderful view over the like and Isola San Giulio. The room is small but very comfortable and clean. Perfect for a short stay in Lago di Orta.
Location was excellent, right in the middle of town. Piera was easy to work and communicate with. Apartment is very spacious even for family of 5. Nice partial view of the lake. Would stay here again if visiting orta san Giulio.
The location of the hotel is great. from the room location we could see the lake nicely, the hotel is far enough from the street that no street noise could be heard. The staff at the hotel does a great job with breakfast.
Incredible location and absolutely perfect hotel ! Made our dream holiday come true! Wonderful tub and bathroom fit for a queen but tucked into a cozy romantic little room overlooking the lake. Simply spectacular !
A gem of a hotel in a perfect location. Beautiful views, airy room, great swimming pool, delicious breakfast, wonderful staff and excellent service throughout our stay.
Incredibly cosy apartments with breathtaking view, very friendly owner who is always ready to help. Thank you so much! The best place to stay in Orta san Giulio.
