    Vernazza was overcrowded.

Vernazza was overcrowded. The trains that accessed the town were horribly overpacked and at times the city streets were impassible. I hope that the tour groups that flooded the trains and streets will be limited in number in the future otherwise the quality of life in this beautiful village will be diminished,

Vernazza was a beautiful unique place to visit--so glad we were able to experience it! The hike from Vernazza to Monterosso was somewhat difficult because of so many steps but very worth it for the views. We would have liked to have taken the ferry back to Vernazza from Monterosso but it had not started running for the season yet, so we had to settle for the train. It's nice to have options!

    We loved everything about Vernazza!

We loved everything about Vernazza! It is way more beautiful than I had pictured! It almost doesn't look real! The restaurants, food, drinks and dessert were all delicious! We hiked above the town and had breathtaking views! We were there in March so we had some rain upon arrival in the morning, but the sun came out on our hike and it was beautiful! We walked every where from the train station~ it was so easy to get around! The shops are darling and we bought several items! I would HIGHLY recommend visiting Cinque Terre!!!

    We loved Vernazza.

We loved Vernazza. We enjoyed the views, the little harbor was beautiful. The Tower views over looking the ocean and village was fantastic! Our experiences in several restaurants were excellent. Plenty of shops for Souvenirs. Vernazza was also a great home base to visit the other villages of Cinque Terre. Our favorite Village.

City is beautiful with fine restaurants, but nearly impossible during the day when tour groups and day tourists overrun the town. Hiking was even difficult due to the number of persons on the trails. Trains between Cinque Terra towns were extremely crowded and unconfortable and station boarding platforms were shoulder to shoulder with passengers. We used the ferries instead of train if not in a hurry.

This hotel is in the perfect location in Vernazza! As a solo traveler I was worried about leaving my valuables on the beach as I swam, but staying right across from the beach all I had to do was bring my key. The management was super friendly, they had air conditioning which was a life saver in June, and they gave a 10% coupon to the restaurant below in the square. Just beware they are 4 floors up and there is no elevator, so lots of stairs!

The location is absolutely beautiful, with access to the Cinque Terra area. We had the best view overlooking the ocean. There was a large patio area where you can sit and watch the ferries and local fishing boats and have a glass of your favourite beverage. The bed was super comfortable. Our host Gian, met us at the Vernazza train station and helped us with our luggage and showed us the way to the accommodation.

Wonderful location! Francesca made you feel like family. Answered questions about the area and was extremely helpful with questions on navigating trains in Italy. Exceeded all of our expectations!!!! Highly recommend if you are going to this area. One of the bonuses is that you get a great workout going to your room. Like all areas in Cinque Terre, you must be in shape to navigate all the steps.

The hotel is in a great location! Just minutes walk from the train station and right on the sea front in Vernazza's main square. Alessio checked us in and he was so helpful and so kind, truly made our stay special! The hotel in on the top floor so lots of steps but just like everywhere else in le cinque terre. I would definitely go back!

The staff, the view, the room and the breakfast. Everything was great, and Lorena and Lisa were wonderful. They offered great tips on how to go round and about Cinque Terre. They helped wherever they can with their contacts around Vernazza. Room was spotless. The best part was waking up in the morning with Vernazza views.

This was a perfect location in a beautiful village in Cinque Terre! The owners were extremely easy to get in touch with and stored our luggage until it was time for us to check in (they let us get in as early as they possibly could). They left us a delicious bottle of wine, fruit, and some other assorted snacks!

Vernazza was very beautiful and the check-in was pretty easy. The windy roads to the parking lot, located a little above vernazza, were also really fun! The airco made sure the room was cool quickly. The shuttle service and parking lot were very fast and friendly with their service just like the hotel staff.

A beautiful apartment, well equipped, in a truly perfect location. Federica was very easy to communicate with, and accessing the property was no problem. Be aware there are stairs, like everywhere in Vernazza (and across Cinque Terre), but these stairs are very few and easy to utilise.

Very well appointed and modern. Cool apartment in the heart of a great village. Yeah, the stairs are steep to reach it. But this is the Cinque Terre and part of the charm. If stairs are a problem, find another location.
