A very social hostel with a great atmosphere and a great staff. The manager is very kind and helpful, he gives us many tips on things to do on the area and takes us to surfing lessons in the morning if we want. In the evening we all gather around a tasty family dinner cooked by the staff. There's even a skate park in the hostel ! Good location at 15min by walk from town-center and close to several beach in a quiet stress ! Bathrooms and dorms are clean with fans above each bed or AC. I highly recommend this place !

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. We booked a jeep safari in hotel. It was very nice and enjoyed lot. In front of the beach and close to the main surf point. Comfy bed and clean room, bathroom. Toilet paper and soap inside the bathroom. Internet connection was good. Value for the stay.

We stayed at Whiskey Point during low season and for two nights we had the place all for ourselves. The atmosphere was awesome and despite of staying only for three nights, we felt like family with the staff guys. They had really helpful tips for us. One of our kids best memories of the entire trip is making Pizza in the wood fired pizza oven at Whiskey Point. The Pizza by the way was really good. I also imagine this to be a nice and quieter place during high season compared to Arugam Bay. At the same time Arugam Bay is only a short TukTuk ride away and easy to reach for a snack or surf session. We would definitely come back
