It was a very cozy and comfortable place to stay. Even though it was a bit far from the center. It felt like home for us.
Situated on a friendly street in Amstelveen, at Hotel Abina you can enjoy easy access to the bustling center of town with the peace and prettiness of the nearby Amsterdam Forest.

The hotel is full of charm and the owners are super nice and very helpful. The location is perfect with many attractions at walking distance. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended just know there are steep stairs to get to the rooms.
Just a 15-minute drive from both Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam, this hotel offers spacious rooms and Junior Art Suites. The A9 highway is 8 minutes by car.

The area were kind. The rooms were spacious and clean. When we are in the area, we always stay for 7 nights so it is nice they have enough storage for all our clothes, etc...we enjoyed that the hotel was quiet (at least it was during our stay), since we are there for work. The breakfast is great, bread rolls, butter, jams, meat and cheese, fruits, veggies, cereal, coffee, juice...and you can request made to order eggs (just make sure you book with breakfast included). There is parking at the hotel. Over all, a good place to stay for your money.

going towards the center of Amsterdam took us a a bit more of 50 min or less but the scenery was what made the difference. You can enjoy the Clean atmosphere when taking the tram, and its only needed to transfer 1 time.

Amstelveen is a lovely wee place but being only 20 mins by car from Amsterdam centre you’ll want to go there. Amstelveen has local shops and amenities needed but there’s not a great deal to do in the area and not within walking distance.

I will write about my Room , I booked and paid for a studio XXL . They gave me room no. 013 . I think the room 013 is only XL and not XXL . Kindly check with them and your files . If they gave me only studio XL ,instead of XXL ,then I want a refund for the extra price I paid .
Thank you.

The hotel was conveniently located near a tram station. It was an easy ride into town. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The neighborhood is quiet. About a 10 minute walk down the street is a strip mall with some restaurants. We tried the kabob place while waiting to check in. It wasn't too bad. There is also a coffeeshop/gelato shop located there. That' the best part of the mall.

Very convenient location close to the airport with bus transportation right outside the property gates. Amstelveen looked like a lovely little town. Unfortunately we arrived late at night and had to leave first thing in the morning so did not have the opportunity to check out the area, restaurants, and night life.

You hardly see the next recommendation: walk up to the Kalfjeslaan and turn right, walking eastward (look it up on Google maps).
Walk all the way to the Amstel river and where you hit the river turn right (or have a cup of coffee and a portion "bitterballen" before you go on at the Kleine Kalfje =Small Calf), walk along the river and enjoy this typically Dutch landscape. Turn right at Machineweg MP until you hit Amstelveen again. This is a wonderful walk with sun or drizzle, not that much when it is raining.
We had a wonderful week in this charming, cute B&B hotel. Johann and Katarina with their son and his girlfriend have lovingly cared for us. They are very hospitable and helpful. With the bicycles from the house you can easily go to the city of Amsterdam in 30-40 minutes. From Amstelveen you can drive in about 30 minutes to the sea, Haarlem, the cheese market in Alkmaar, the island of Marken... In Amstelveen you live quietly and have several restaurants to choose from and a great ice cream parlor within walking distance!
Absolutely stunning hotel! Treated ourselves to the premium room a bit last minute and was not disappointed in the slightest, most of the staff went out there way and was exceptional, would 1 million percent return to the premium room bathroom was stunning everything about the hotel was superb, 15 minute walk to tram to take you into the heart of amsterdam tram takes about 20 minutes, great modes of transport taxi around just under 30 euro, breakfast was lovely had a lot of selection ery impressed with our stay
Everything was wonderful! The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The location couldn’t be better: we stayed 3 weeks for work and had everything we needed (groceries, shopping, and transit) within a 10 minute walk. Quiet, new neighbourhood. Transit into Amsterdam is frequent and close, bike lanes are great. If you like to run, a lot of green space around. We were sad to leave and will be back some day :)
A very convenient, spacious, well equipped, quite and clean apartment. A big and comfortable bed, many closets, large bathroom and separate toilets. The staff were very nice. Location - there's a close tram station with 2 lines (5 and 25) every few minutes, allowing a short trip to Amsterdam-zuid train station, from which there's a fast metro connection to the city or a frequent direct short train trip to the airport.
The bar and the people working at the bar and the hotel were excellent:) Very delicious local beer of different kinds. The room has new balcony door and windows. Room was clean. Breakfast was great, great variety of fruits and cereal and breads and spreads. The neighborhood was quite at night but was very lively in the morning. I enjoyed my 10-15 min walk to the bus station.
Location is pretty good, it's close to the Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest), which is a very nice area for walks during the summer, there are also some restaurants and grocery stores around. It's easy to get to the nearest tram/metro station (Kronenburg) where you can buy tickets (including one day ticket), go to Amsterdam Zuid, and subsequently to the city centre.
I stay here on a regular bases due to the great service, friendly staff, good location and the facilities provided in the room. The hotel is well positioned close to the 300 bus stop which gets you quickly to Schiphol airport and the number 5 tram which gets you into the centre of Amsterdam.
The hotel is full of charm and the owners are super nice and very helpful. The location is perfect with many attractions at walking distance. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended just know there are steep stairs to get to the rooms.
The location was fantastic. If you want to enjoy calm and serenity sitting by a water body amidst nature this is the perfect place for you. It is also well connected with the airport. Given that staying in Amsterdam central is so expensive I would love to come back here again in future.
Cheap and not too long of a commute to the city centre of Amsterdam(30 mins or so) and not far from the airport. Lidl is across the street for cheap drinks. Get a room with a private bathroom. Wouldn't be suited for someone who can't walk stairs. Nice bar food. I give the hotel a 3/5.
We have searched for the hotel in the last minute. Super location - quiet, Amstelveen is great suburb of Amsterdam. Since we had car, we had no problems to travel to city center. Nice staff, beds very good, everything clean. Good breakfast - eggs, cheese, salami, jam - everything.
The hotel is nice and in a good position for working in Amstelveen or University. The staff was very helpful with some issues I had, and the coffee machine in the room is a real bonus. Internet was super fast and the room setting with a big desk was super handy.
Very modern hotel. Large room, comfortable bed and desk area for work (if required). Good transport links into Amsterdam itself 20-30min tram ride and stop was less than 5mins from hotel.
Staff were very helpful and accommodated all reasonable requests
Close to the trams, Amstel Park and Amsterdam forest. I hired a well maintained bike from the hotel to ride the forest. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean with a great kitchen. It was very quiet. Bathroom was a joy. Wifi was good.
Location is not in the center, but close to tram station "Kronberg". I asked to give the cleanest room, and they did. It is a budget hotel, I really like the part they provide place to eat the breakfast if you bring your own
Very friendly staff, brand new hotel, close to public transport, nice bikes to rent, very special capsule hotel experience, with private bathroom and toilet. much cheaper than other hotels in Amsterdam.
The location is a bit farther out, but an easy tram ride into Amsterdam and close to the embassy we needed to visit and that was more important to us. Kitchen was well equipped as well.
the size of the room is really huge ( in comparison to other hotels in Netherlands) with nice Balcony, parking is free. the Hotel surrounding is beautiful
