Everything was amazing, from the exterior, which was what first caught my eye, to the interior, which is even more exuberant. The facilities too, although I did not have time to try the swimming pool. The shower was great too and there's even a yoga/meeting room, balconies, reading area, it's just sublime.

We had a very relaxing stay- we had planned for one night, but extended it to two nights as we enjoyed the property so much
The rooms/cabins are very large/ Nice bathrooms and beds with patios
We ate all of our meals there and enjoyed all of them (I am vegetarian and liked all of my options/ my husband who is not vegetarian also equally enjoyed the meals)
They have a few activities each day, we enjoyed a short hike and learned about the local community, plants and birds
In the afternoon, they have a nice tea time with small snacks-
For planning- it takes 1.5 hours from the airport/ plan a ride in advance- it is about $50 for a couple from Cusco
The local area has a few popular tourist places to visit though we did not take advantage of these as we just enjoyed staying there
The Sacred Valley was an adjustment in altitude for us (we are from Nebraska) and it was nice to acclimate there, before staying in Cusco and ultimately hiking the Salkantay trail.

The best way for not getting soroche or altitude sickness is to drive straight from the airport to the Sacred Valley and stay there at least the first 3 days of your stay in Cusco. This is the best way to get your body used to such a high altitude and avoid getting sick. Urubamba has great restaurants and hotels all around, so there’s plenty of choices for lunch and dinner. The weather is much warmer and nicer than Cusco and it’s a great hub for visiting the ruins around the place.

Urubamba is the perfect base from which to explore the Sacred Valley. It's also a quieter, less overtouristed alternative to Cuzco. Visitors can walk clear across town without being stopped by touts every few steps, but getting to Ollantaytambo, Moray and Maras is a breeze (and cheap). The town also has plenty of great dining options, all for much less than you'd pay in Cuzco, and it's perfect for people watching. It may seem a bit rough around the edges at first but within a day you'll find it comfortable and even homey.

We had been there for work and looked for a peaceful place to spend the night, which we found. I know Urubamba, since I live in the Sacred Valley. Nice little town, where you find everything, you need for a short or long stay.

I liked staying here. Great food. Some good local sights.
I liked staying here. Great food. Some good local sights. Easy access to both Pisac and Ollantaytambo. It's a little less quaint than those other two tourist hot spots, but I preferred that Urubamba was a real city, with less domination from tourists. It is more centrally located than the other two, making it easier to get to them both. Really enjoyed my stay.

Urubamba is a good place to stay to see the sights in the sacred valley. There are a lot of restaurants and our hotel into nan was outstanding. Our hosts arranged taxis to show us the sights, and once the owner even drove us to a shop!
We had a absolutely fantastic night in this beautiful resort. The location with the surrounding mountains is magical and the gardens within the resorts are equally beautiful. I was stunned by the evening beauty of the place. The staff took very good care of us and were very kind! Breakfast buffé was excellent, with a great variation. The rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and with big windows. It felt very luxurious. I really wish we had time to stay longer since this was by far the nicest place we stayed at in Peru.
The hotel was great, the outdoors are very fresh and makes you connect with nature and the mountains. The breakfast is buffet style and everything was delicious. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was incredible, the food is fresh and they have a good variety in the menu. everything was clean. The staff was super friendly, they help us to get in touch with a tour company and arrange the transportation.
Beautifull hotel. Unfortunately the swimmingpool was closed due to maintanance when we were there. One time a cold shower, one time no water. When the cook is not there you cannot order food. The hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere.
Still we had a good time. The garden is beatifull. Urumbamba and Ollantaytambo are easy to reach by taxi. Breakfast was very good.
The property is in an incredible location. The staff and the service is great: Nancy our guide, Mauricio our driver and the concierges who always helped us to find the best logistics.
The fact that the Hiram Birgham train leaves directly from the hotel is a huge plus! (Avoiding the bimodal service).
The garden and the rooms are amazing as well!
Excellent facilities for families with pool, games, cinema.
The staff / reception and manager were very friendly and helpful - helped us with all our questions and requests.
Peaceful location with nice local walks to do, short taxi ride to Urubamba.
Good breakfast and restaurant was very good quality for evening meal.
We stayed in this hotel for a week, and enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms are very clean and cozy, beds were perfect. Breakfast is great with lots of stuff. We especially liked the tea station offering local herbs.
Also, 4 cute baby alpacas are visiting the area every day to polish the ideal Andean landscape.
Best lodge experience we had in Peru. The staff was super attentive. Continental breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and spacious. Most suitable for families.
It is a bit further away from town center but still an easy 10-15 min walk.
For us it was worth it. Excellent value for money.
Local hotel ran by the founding family. the staff is super kind and worries about the guest having a wonderful experience not only at the hotel but in Cuzco overall. great food and nice, clean spacious bedrooms.
Lots of activities planned within the hotel.
The breakfast was good. We loved our stay there. Thank you so much for finding my hot air curling brush. I really appreciated being called after leaving. We will definitely recommend your hotel to anyone we know traveling up to Machu Picchu.
The interior decoration and amenities were top notch. The breakfast buffet was the best we experienced during our trip to Peru and the heated pool and hot tubs were great for a relaxing evening after tours.
This spa hotel is amazing. Best hotel we stayed in Peru
We tried the spa and it was very good and reasonably priced
huge rooms, excellent view, extremely comfortable.
very recommend this hotel very much
Quite place. Breakfast is basic.
Provided a ironer and hair dryer since it wasn't in the room. Garden is really nice. Last building in a street, not much light in the night. Urubamba has many restaurants.
The place is beautiful and surrounded by nature. The room is very spacious and the hotel has a very nice mission. However, I think it would be good to highlight some points so that they can improve.
The hotel is beautiful and the grounds lovely. Having llamas, parrots and peacocks makes the place more special. Nice big room, with great view. the staff is very attentive and the food delicious.
The service was impeccable, and the staff was very friendly. The resort is majestic with the sound of the river and the mountains all around. Enjoy the delicious selection of Peruvian foods.
It’s a new hotel and just on the edge of being awesome, will be great when they finish off the edges. Everything was clean and new. Breakfast was great.
