It felt like visiting family. Lovely room, extremely welcoming and friendly staff, and great breakfast. It was everything I needed for a short work trip to the area. Weather was terrible so I didn't get to enjoy any of the outside space.

Elk is a very nice town to visit and walk around, a trip to the waterfront on the lake during the summer months is a must! It has a beautiful view but an abundance of bars on the waterfront also. Most of the bartenders and serving staff speak decent English, to get thru the language barrier for you to order a drink or food. Elk is one of those quintessential Polish towns with a charming atmosphere, a wonderful lake and lots of great restaurants serving up tasty local dishes. Elk is not really a tourist destination as there is not much to see aside from a few nice churches but they do have scenic walking trails around the lake, large festivals including a spectacular hot-air ballon event and fireworks show. Also, the city offers many free music concerts throughout the summer.

The apartment was spacious, clean, with a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. The fridge is big, so would be good even for a family. We parked just outside of the fence. There is a swimming pool within the compound and it looks pretty private with a high fence around. Overall we found it good value for the price and enjoyed our overnight stay.
