Interesting town divided by a scenic river. Seems to be a nut capital with bulk walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts for sale everywhere. Many reasonable restaurants, but breakfast options limited. Good shopping and pedestrian streets, all within walking distance.

Nice place to stay for a two or three days trip. Good restaurants. You can easily walk all around the city with very nice view. I highly recommend the restaurant Coliseo for Italian food and for Portuguese meal you have so much choice.

I have rarely felt more comfortable and welcome. The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of snacks and goodies that were available and freely offered and there is always a very lovely and tasty cake available for when you return from exploring the area. Quiet and cozy, a charming place to stay in Mirandela.

The whole place deserves a 10 because it was perfect. A little outside of Mirandela, however, I liked that because it was so private and quiet. Our host was very attentive and gave us lots of choices of where to eat traditional Portuguese food. Yes, I would book again without hesitation.
