I love the environment here. Combine with traditional decoration. I take a room with separate bathroom but it's very convinient because the outside bathroom have many bathroom, not only one. Room very comfortable.

Nice staff, comfortable room with a balcony to chill in overlooking the river. We went in off season so it was incredibly quiet, which was helpful at night. Good breakfast buffet too. Staff helped us arrange transfer to Thai-Laos border early in the morning with no problem.

We stayed for one night before getting the slow boat to Laos. The staff were organised and helpful. The room was tidy and had all that we needed. There was a table and chairs on the shared balcony with a very low overhanging roof that we repeatedly banged our head on. The bathroom was quite small and the shower seemed to wet everything in there when you used it. Conveniently located near shops, restaurant, market and ATM. A good stay for one night- except the sore head.

The breakfast was good and we had a nice view from the terrace over looking the river and Laos. The staff were very friendly and helpful at the reception and in the breakfast area, thank you.

Incredibly friendly couple who run it and were so helpful. Although breakfast is not officially included, there was coffee and tea, toast and jam available in the morning. Nice views over the river. Walking distance to restaurants. Was a good place to stay for one night.

I liked to have riverview. We had two single beds that we rearranged such that they were mire close to eachother. Not perfect but ok. For one person the bed was too hard, for the other it was good. Was great to be on the (small) balcony to look at the river, but there were no seats.
I used the pool, but at the time of the day the two high building on the side avoided all sunshine to warm up the water. We also had to use our own towels from the room, one per person.
Checkout was fast without checking the room. Few hours after we left, we were in Chiang Rai already, staff called us that they we left behind a watch. They agreed to send it to our home in Chiang Mai. Great service that we really appreciate.

I was in town for the first annual (I hope) Chiang Khong Music Festival.
The music was excellent and the roads to and from were perfect for motorcycles.
Chiang Khong is a sleepy little town with just enough nightlife to keep it from being boring.
It is right on the Mekong River and there is a "Friendship Bridge" border crossing to Lao (Laos) very close.
If you need to decompress, this is a good place to do it.
Great place to spend the night for Motorcycle enthusiasts.

Nothing much here but it's away from the waterfront at Chiang Saen and Sop Ruap with their Burmese and Chinese casinos across the river. We drove so we were able to get around to some out of the way places downriver and over to Sop Ruap so the ladies could go shopping. All in all a pleasant place to stay especially for us older farangs.
It'a not often when you arrive at a hotel and feel good vibes right away. Tucked away in a seemingly rural neighborhood (spotted a family of guinea fowls pecking away outside our deck), this family run hotel felt comfortable and friendly. Dinner and breakfast is in an open air dining room/bar where a few house cats roam around hoping for a morsel. We wished we could have stayed in our large suite which was super clean for more than a night but we were there to catch our cruise the next morning which many stay in this town for.
It’s in a good location with restaurants and stores within walking distance. It’s located in the heart of Chiang Khong city. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had strong water pressure and was hot. Although the staff wasn’t there to greet us when we arrived, we rang the bell as the sign said, and she came right away. She was very helpful and helped us immensely. It was a good value for the money. I would stay here again.
The best throughout hotel we have stayed in Thailand. The rooms are big comfortable, with fantastic views from your balcony, the shower is great.everything is spotless. The restaurant has great food with a great atmosphere. The lady owner is fantastic. So so smiley lovely and helpful you don’t have to worry about anything she has it all organised in a calm cheerier way for this place the ratings should go up to 11
The good reviews this place has received were absolutely correct. Very nice and helpful people and though the bungalow room was probably the smallest I have ever stayed in, it was lovely and perfect for my needs. I always bring a memory foam matrass in my car when I travel around in Thailand because of my bad back, but this time I could leave it in the car because the bed was comfortable as it was.
Very clean and comfortable stay. The place is full of green, well looked after and has a huge swimming pool (25m).
The owner is very friendly and looked after our well being all the time. On request you get a delicious dinner and breakfast.
The hotel is a little outside of town but has a quick access to the Mekong boardwalk and from there it is a beautiful walk along the river. A must do!
Fabulous property with the most amazing hosts! Mai and her family go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. And it was! Large, clean room with an amazing view, delicious food, and everything we needed to explore…or just relax. This was my favorite hotel after 13 weeks in Southeast Asia! Can’t wait to come back!
Room was bright, spacious and clean, with a good bed and well functioning air conditioning. Bathroom was fine, with better than usual counter space around the sink. Front desk staff were cheerful and welcoming. The adjacent 7/11 was very handy. Hotel's location could not be more central, with many places to eat nearby.
Everything, a lovely experience. From check in to departure, the owners/ operators of this hotel were warm, welcoming and helpful. Located a stone throw from the river with a great view and short distance to restaurants and a nice riverside walk. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean with a balcony.
It’s probably the best you’re going to get
in Chiang Khong. A variety of low-price,
simple but delicious food restaurants within
walking distance. They pick you up at the
immigration office for a very reasonable fee.
Nice view only in river view rooms. Bathtub
on the balcony is nice.
It was very clean. The owners were very friendly. They picked us up when we arrived in Chiang Khong, provided breakfast, drove us to the border the next morning and reserved tickets for the slow boat. We could use bicycles for free, but we decided to rent a motorbike for a good price.
A wonderful waterfront inn, wonderful charming, helpful owner. Great location in a charming small village which felt very friendly and manageable. If I were going to live in Thailand, I just might choose to live in Chaing Khong.
We really loved having a dining room and a living room. There was also a really nice coffee shop across the street. And laundry facility in front of our hotel. Loved it.
Last minute booking at a hotel we have stayed at before. This time we had a river facing room with a hot tub, great and better for us than the bungalows
Excellent PRICE-PERFORMANCE Ratio, Staff and Reception very friendly and professional, Wifi quickly, Free parking at hotel, beautiful Mekong river view
