My recent stay in Piarco, Trinidad, was a delightful experience, thanks in part to the amazing hosts, Soniada and Narish, and their unique cultural offerings. The design is more of a motel and not a traditional hotel because one can drive up to or close to the rooms' entrance. When I entered the room, I could tell it had been recently cleaned. I was also lucky enough that they could facilitate my special requests (you rock!). There was a kitchen and other supplies that people who would have a longer stay might choose to prepare meals. There was a convenience store within walking distance for snacks and juices. Supermarkets are reachable by transportation.
The next day, Soniada and Narish took me to get breakfast at their favourite doubles vendor. I got an extra cup of the channa because it was delicious. Afterward, they took me to get a charger for my laptop, and as a bonus, a technician was able to make some much-needed upgrades I had been putting off before my connecting flight. Because I couldn't catch up on some work, they invited me to join them for lunch at home with one of their friends. We continued to bond while we all had a hand in its preparation. We shared information on our cultures, I got a crash course on making some new dishes, and the lunch was *chef's kiss*. We ate off soharee leaves with our hands. Later, in true Caribbean fashion, I got on my connecting flight to Tobago with food for dinner and breakfast.

Piarco is close to the airport, two nice malls and several restaurants. No real sights to see unless you drive a bit but that can be arranged. Sightseeing wasn't part of our plans. I am very familiar with the area and had a car.i felt safe parking at the hotel .

Okay-ish hotel. Very bad for safety reasons.
Okay-ish hotel. Very bad for safety reasons. A driver who dropped me to the airport extracted my number from private booking records and sent inappropriate messages. Total breach of privacy and a big compromise of my safety.
Utterly distasteful and disgusting behavior by both the receptionist staff and the driver

The pool was great, room has well décor.
We purchased food before we reached but they didnt even have drinks available or ice or even bottled water.
I would avoid booking a room without a fridge.

We had an excellent trip, visiting Maracas bay, Las Queas eating Bake & Shake, children went to Jouvert & Carnival and enjoyed both. We all felt so safe travelling around the Island and at no time felt we couldn't travel to any area of Trinidad.

I enjoyed the relaxing area where I was able to view all the cultural recipes and places of interest in TNT. Not sure what the area is called. It was easy to get around. I ate at churches chicken. Was not the best at the time of evening.
The night manager was an instant hit. He made certain we had something to eat as the restaurant on the property was closed for the day. Jason picked us up from the airport and was extremely attentive and resourceful. We had fun going to his other favorite Chinese restaurant, getting our food and returning to the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious. The little fridge even had complimentary water and drinks.
This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you need to be near the airport. The owner Mike is very kind and caring. The staff as well. From the shuttle all the way to the little details that made my tough flight so much better. The beds are comfy, very clean. And the breakfast was delicious. I didn’t get to try the restaurant because it closes Monday nights, but hear only good things about it.
I liked the fact that there was a free airport shuttle to and from the airport. The staff was very friendly and well trained. The rooms were well cleaned and the food in the restaurant was delicious. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Trinidad.
Room was very clean, Transfers from airport we’re Organised and worked out fine. Owner very friendly and will accommodate every need. nice restaurant and bar on top of hotel. I can recommend this hotel, very convenient at only 10 minutes from airport.
Jesse was an incredible host. He went out of his way to make our stay perfect. We were there for an overnight layover from the airport. He drove us to pick up something to eat. Highly recommend!
1) Location to Airport (5 Mins away)
2) Reasonably Priced and Perfect for short stays (overnight/layover)
3) Host was kind to offer airport pickup though I didnt need it.
4) Wifi was sufficient
Great location....close to airport...warm hospitality....kindness and care of Maude and Derick were amazing. Airport shuttle to and from airport was a plus. It's a little home away from home.
Receptionist/airport transfer driver was really polite and nice. They were easy to contact and arrived on time. The rooms were clean and pleasant. Could not wish for a better airport hotel.
The Hotel was beautiful and clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. Bedroom was spacious and clean. Location quiet and private. They had a very classy pool/bar/restaurant area.
