This place has an amazing ambient and a beautiful soul! It was like a hub for the coolest people from every country, looking for a peaceful, extremely relaxed vacation in a bit of wilderness, heartfelt conversations with alcohol next to the fire… it’s all in the package, and as a bonus you get one of the best teams - owners and staff members that are right there for you literally every minute. Thank you all guys- Benjamin, Annick, Cliffton, Melania, Elisabeth and others whose names we did not get to know;) You were all so amazing that even after two weeks it was a pity to leave. We look forward to meeting you all again! PS. A big thanks to Cliffton for recommending us Malaika, We enjoyed it to the fullest ;-)

It’s a very quiet and enjoyable place and you can book lots of activities from there but overall there is not much going outside the hotels. The public beach doesn’t have any good restaurants or shops so you’re pretty much tied to your resort.

The staff and the hotell facilties are the absulute best. The location is more quiet then other places, they do not have a beach like Kendwa but it you are just looking to relax a couple of days this does not matter. It is like on a little cliff, sooo nice!

Kizimkazi is a village, although in fact there are 2 distinct and separate areas, with 2 beaches. The rest of the area is comprised of large, private self-contained resorts with their own private stairways. There is not much to explore, but boat owners offer big-game fishing and dolphin-watching. There are only 2 restaurants, although some of the private resorts offer their restaurants to the public; but at a price. Hardly any touting which is nice; 3 or 4 days is probably sufficient to see all there is to see.

We booked for 1 week - all inclusive and thank God we did because everything was insanely expensive. The staff were always friendly and the hotel activities were a lot of fun (painting classes, aqua aerobics etc). The room was nice, with a beautiful view of the sea and a nice shared pool (shared between 2 other rooms). The buffet was in general mediocre - depending on the day you could say it was enjoyable. The drinks at the bars were also ok although quality varied greatly depending on the bartender. the gym is nice as well as the pool

The lodge is located at the very end of Kizimkazi, in a quite area, surrounded by nature. An ideal place to relax completely It also has a private beach with sunbeds, hammocks and a fireplace. The accommodation itself are all made of coconut leaves and wood, making you feel like you're sleeping in a huts. The owners, Sandrine and David are absolutely lovely and accommodating. So it the staff. Nice food and very complete and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend it here if you want some peace and quite and a good connexion with nature.

Very nice and calm place to stay. Salida Beach is located in a quiet corner of Kizimkazi, you can walk easily to the village if you need something. Tasty and fresh breakfast and also good food if you want to eat in the hotel restaurant. From the property you can go down directly to the ocean and during the low tide walk by the beach. People working there are very friendly and helpful. Thanks for nice service :) I fully recommend.

It was perfect for us! Tranquil location right at the beach in a non touristy town. Rooms are beautifully decorated, super comfy and spacious beds and just overall such a peaceful and relaxing place. 🐚 The lovely owner couple always tried to help us out and make us as comfortable as possible. Sleeping in the sea front room was amazing with the sound of the ocean every night and morning.

Aya Beach resort is absolutely amazing! We stayed in early October and the resort was almost empty, so it was such a nice and relaxing place. The views are amazing, so many places to relax, morning and evening yoga classes, great breakfast and reasonable prices of food at the restaurant. The room had a nice size, AC, and a fridge. We enjoyed our stay a lot!
