The cabin and property were SO well kept!!! Since the pandemic I have stayed in many vacation facilities and many of those being name brand chain hotels that were terrible. This property is wonderful! We flew so a little inconvenient that bath towels were not provided but we worked it out. Definitely not a deal breaker. I highly recommend this property and the entire area!

It was a beautiful clean town with many shops and places to eat. The views over the water was very nice. The things at shops were very expensive. Even the Amish were selling things that were way over priced. All in all I loved the area.

    Clayton has certainly improved.

Clayton has certainly improved. The downtown has been renovated, utilities have been put underground which makes the downtown charming. There are many good restaurants. We ate breakfast and Dinner at the Seaway Grille and the quant Coffee Cove Restaurant.A trip would not be complete with out a visit to Foxy’s Restaurant. There are lots of unique shops in Clayton, such as Carla’s Christmas Shop, Michael Ringer Galleries and the Eagle Shoppe. Clayton has an opera house and one of the best antique boat museums. Clayton is located on the shore of the St. Lawrence River in the center of the Thousand Islands.

Lyrics coffee house has amazing frozen coffees.

Lyrics coffee house has amazing frozen coffees. Been there a bunch of times. Staff is very friendly. DiPrinzio’s Kitchen has good pizza and really good wings. You can sit out on the patio and watch the boats go by. Staff is very friendly as well. Koffee Kove has some yummy food as well, but didn’t get to stop in this year. We went there last year. Staff is also very friendly. I love Clayton. It’s a beautiful little town with so much to see and so much to shop and eat. The boat museum is pretty cool.

Great place to visit but based on what we saw and heard it...

Great place to visit but based on what we saw and heard it can be quite busy in the summer-time. Lots of touristy shops and restaurants but most close after Columbus Day. Nice state parks with lots of hiking trails and interesting nature centers. Uncle Sam's Boat Tours is definitely worth the price and if you go between Memorial Day and Columbus Day you can see Baldt and Singer Castles. A great place to eat is JK's Roadhouse outside Alexandria Bay. You don't need a car to see Clayton or Alexandria Bay...both towns and all they have to offer can be walked to. Next trip will be after Labor Day and before Columbus Day!

Antique Boat Museum was very interesting.

Antique Boat Museum was very interesting. Walk along water in village, near many shops is scenic. Wood Boat Brewery has great pizza. The ice cream shop and grill has great basic food and ice cream at an economical price.

Nice small town. Lots of restaurants are open only for dinner. Great bakery and nice restaurants open in the area, Might need to drive towards Alexandria Bay for more options. Nice wineries en route. Take the scenic route.

We really enjoyed sitting on deck and looking out over the river, seeing the boats and water fowl. In most hotels the beds are horrible but at Seaway Slips the bed was very comfortable. The fridge and stove were very clean as was the grill. The whole weekend was very relaxing and quiet. We had evrything we could have wanted or needed. The owner was a text away if we needed anything. She checked in periodially to make sure things were goung ok and if there was anything we needed. We will definitely stay again!

This is a very traditional motor hotel with just a few rooms and a house available. The room was big enough for the king size bed, but there was only one night table and light and one chair. Decor was cute. The bathroom is tiny but the water is plentiful and hot. Good towels, fully replaced each day. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Small microwave and fridge in room. Common kitchen where you can get coffee any time. Great location. You could walk to the museum or town.

The hotel offers exceptional value and service. The rooms are beautifully appointed and spotless clean. The staff are super nice and friendly. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious food in a nice dining room overlooking the river: the dishes are on a simpler side, but made with fresh ingredients and well presented. River view rooms are well worth the premium and are highly recommended.

This location is just a few miles out of town which makes it very peaceful at night time. The staff does their best to meet your needs. We used their very clean saltwater pool everyday. As somebody who has recently started coming up annually within the last 5 years, this will be the hotel that I will try to stay at first pending how full they are.

We loved that it was super clean and homey. When checking in we were given a list of restaurants in the area that really helped us navigate our evenings. The pool was fantastic for the little one and the nightly bonfire was so relaxing and really gave it a “camping” feel The property is close (10/15 minutes) from a lot of the attractions.

Nostalgia of a traditional 60s motel , but smartly updated and impeccably clean. The manager and staff were friendly while being efficient and professional. Add in the convenience of a restaurant across from the facility, as well as a great little golf course, and it was a perfect place for our mini vacation in the Clayton, NY area.
