Nothing, I had my sister and mom there with me for two days, thought the price was amazing we have stayed in motel 6 since we were young, my mom always loved motel 6. We check in, no pool access it was green, ice machine didn't work, laundry facility was out of order, vending machine out of order, we received 2 stained up towels in our room, cigarette burns in the bedding, the floors never mopped. My mom had to go buy blankets because she refused to sleep under theirs because they looked filthy. Then a guy drives up in a car and harassed my mother to come to his car right in front of the office. And the manager just watched. I think the motel is ran for prostution. I witnessed two exchanges of God know what outside our room. So, no more stays for us off this site nor any site who continues to have this motel on it. I am so glad I didn't have my wife and new baby girl with us.

There were roaches in the shower.
There were roaches in the shower. We had to ask for towels and soap and it took over an hour to get. If you close the bathroom door you would see dirt at both corners behind it. You cannot access the front desk with the phone in your room you have to call their number off the website. The beds were so soft that after my back procedure I hurt.

The people are great and always available when you need them. The pool is nice and big and very clean and the kids loved it. These pics are of the grandkids after a long day at the pool. They couldn't get enough.

Traveled from Waxahachie Tx to Huntsville after visiting...
Traveled from Waxahachie Tx to Huntsville after visiting family and had the next day to visit the Prison Museum. Museum was excellent and we took our time going through and learning how Texas prison system has evolved over the years. Fascinating history lesson. We then visited more family in Tomball Tx. Huntsville is a great place to relax and stay awhile.

Got to see a lot of history about the town , went to the museums , Lots of GOOD places to eat and shop . Went where they have their farm and where they execute death row prisoners . Went to Sam Houston State park . Really beautiful park . Hugh college there also . If you want REALLY GOOD FOOD and EXCELLENT SERVICE GO TO THE FARMHOUSE CAFE . Even though the hotel is near the highway, I didn't hear any traffic noise and had a good nights sleep, waking up feeling well rested and ready to continue with my journey. It was the perfect place for us to stay and such a great value.
