They don’t have an elevator in first building, had to carry luggage & other stuff up staircase! It was very hard for senior. Even mentioned it to staff was nasty response to us! Didn’t offer any help! Also in complex they only had 1 ice machine on first floor

The Outer Banks of NC is a must see.

The Outer Banks of NC is a must see. We did it all in the time frame we had and the weather that didn't always cooperate. The Sand Dunes at Jockey State Park, The Wright Brothers Memorial, Jeanette's Pier, Pea Island, The Graveyard Memorial, The Elizabethan Gardens, and the Wild Horses Tour in the Hummer was all so exciting and amazing!! The restaurants we are at were just ok or not ok.....Sam Omies and The Crab House.

First time in OBX, loved it.

First time in OBX, loved it. We stayed here since it was pretty central to go both directions up and down the coast easily. There is plenty to do, weather pending. We came in shoulder season so it was quiet and a little chilly. I hear it gets incredibly busy in the summer. Beautiful part of the coast and will come again.

This hotel is beach front and although it was foggy and rainy, we could still see the ocean. We liked the fact that there as a little cafe run by Dave who made us up a shrimp and salad supper so we didn’t have to navigate in the fog! Most of all, the staff at the hotel are great and super helpful. We had a problem with payment which has been sorted out by the Manager, Lynnsey.

The last time I was in KDH was about 20 years ago and I have to say time has not not been kind to it. So commercial, touristy and filthy. Litter and cigarette butts covered the side of the road, where you will have to walk if you want some exercise, as there are no sidewalks on many of the busy streets. We visited in the off-season as a side trip on our way from NJ to GA so we could go to the Wright Brothers memorial. The memorial is nicely done, and the building it is housed in is lovely. I'd suggest making a day trip to see it and then getting out of town.

The location was perfect, in the middle of anything we'd like to do. The indoor pool was fantastic for this time of year. We enjoyed the beach, but the heated pool and hot tub were great! We ate breakfast there one day, and the rest out. Would have likely ate there more, but it was not included in the pricing. The hotel was very clean and the staff were so phenomenal! All the pet friendly rooms were on the first floor, which really is a great idea. We were able to enjoy the restaurant before they closed for the month of January.

Location is one block from the beach. There are 2 building blocks - one on the beachfront. I requested closer, but was told this was $250 more. Otherwise, our block was only one block from the beach. Road is a little busy so watch the young kids. 2 bedroom suite was spacious, clean and well equipped. The unit block has a checkin lounge with games, books, dvds, popcorn which the kids loved. There are also daily activities. Some people are permanent owners and all were lovely and welcoming.

Great Place, we only stayed a night since we were driving along the Outer Banks, comfy bed, the lady at the reception super friendly, large parking lot, breakfast good, the upper floors were a price class higher so we only where in 2nd floor ==> you can get a glimpse of the ocean behind the embankment and you can definitely hear the calming waves on the beach! Even during off-season there was a really good dining in close proximity (Kill devil grill)

We liked everything about OuterI Banks. 🥰 Problem with booking- I worked through Outer Banks about the dates of our stay. They only book Saturday to Saturday. ( July 10th - July 17th) When I booked through you, it was Sunday to Sunday.( July 11th- July 18th) I tried several times to get your dates to match their dates. Please check in the future with the hotel/resort to make your dates match their dates.😪

The place was great! The location was excellent with an infant being right on the beach and the room was extremely spacious and clean. The restaurant attached to the hotel had great food as well! Also enjoyed the option for the pool as well and close to many restaurants. We've stayed in a few different places in kill devil hills and this has been our favorite place yet!
