The Aqua lodge was extremely clean and updated. They made use of every inch of space. The canal it’s on is very peaceful and quiet and a manatee would swim right next to our boat.

This was a great family vacation spot - we loved the pool, the dock, free coffee and kayak rental, manatee and iguana sitings. Location was super central and the room was clean and fairly comfortable.

Went to Bahia Honda State Park - beaches were ok. They offer paddle boarding and kayak rental there. went on several trails, which were nice. Went on the old 7 mile bridge (cloudy day), but didn't get to see sunrise. Drove out to see mini deers and got to see a glimpse of one (it was not near sunset or sunrise, which is the time they recommend you go to see them).Joo - 10Scored 10

We visited the Sea Turtle Recuse Hospital and it was amazing. They are doing such a great job . We ate at a lot of restaurants that was on our List and a few from recommendations from Jason ( Front desk Clerk-awesome guy). I was disappointed in the location as far as the access to a beach. There is a very nice one about 2 miles away. I thought it would be close enough to walk to the water but the closest water was private access only. The price was a little high for the room but I guess that is what you get in the Keys. The room seemed clean enough just old and needy.
