Location is excellent. We always stay here when we are commuting the long drive to Portland. The breakfast was very good this time, scrambled eggs that were delicious, sausage links, bacon, biscuits & gravy. They have a waffle maker if you are interested and there was many choices of cereals, yogurt, muffins, bagels, bread. The room is nicely arranged. Dog friendly and dog area was grassy, nice and clean, with potty bags provided.

    Not recommended!

Not recommended! The hotel's pricing was significantly higher than the value provided. Despite the advertised amenities, the actual experience fell short of expectations. Disappointingly, the quality of service did not justify the inflated cost.

    It is wonderful.

It is wonderful. Lots to do in town and plenty of fun parks & nature areas in town. The Sundial Bridge, Nature Concervancy. Getting around is fast & easy with great freeway system. Of course there are the mountains and rivers, etc. PLEASE, though, do NOT tell anyone! We'd like to keep our favorite vacation spots from becoming like LA 👌

Constant drip from ceiling directly above the toilet...

Constant drip from ceiling directly above the toilet dripping down on your head! Mouse ran across my foot and a cockroach came out from behind the fridge unit. Completely inoperable card lock (people had to prop door open with a rock) A bed that was so old that it was painful to use... we left horrified, traumatized, and in pain! I feel Completely ripped off! When the managent was informed they said sorry and refunded me the 20 dollars on the 40 dollar pet fee! Unacceptable! I feel Booking.com and Red Lion specifically, Ripped Me Off!

I like the facility the most.

I like the facility the most. However they charged me for two nights not the one night I had arranged. When I called the site, Shannon hung up on me three times wanting to argue that I was rude when clearly she was the one who couldn’t figure out how to help me - let alone accommodate me. Though the employees who checked me in were very business like and nice, had they been familiar with policies and procedures, I’m sure all of this fiasco could have been avoided.

I had an interview in downtown Redding, so this hotel was walking distance to the government office where I needed to go. It is only about 5-10 minutes walking distance to several good restaurants in the downtown sector (La Cabana, Kobe Seafood & Steakhouse) and the YMCA gym and pool. My room was quiet and clean. The hot shower had good water pressure. The wifi was reliable and fast. Travel Inn is also close to the river, where there is a running trail.

I like Oxford Suites setup of the rooms and general comfort. The best thing is the outdoor patio area, which is organized so that people with pets can both have breakfast with them (by bringing the plate outside) and enjoy their time with family members while they are in the swimming pool (we stayed outside with the dog while others were in the swimming pool area). The swimming pool is lovely and partly protected from the sun.

Very pet friendly hotel. Hotel staff was very nice during check in. Room was a decent size, with a very good tv selection on the remote (even let’s you go to YouTube!). We had to catch up on laundry when we were there and the washers and dryers very in very good condition. There was a pool, we didn’t have time to go in, but looked clean!

A long detour around an unexpected road closure meant that I had a much longer drive home than I expected and I needed a place to stay what remained of the night. The Redding Motel 6 was easy to find and quite comfortable--a much needed rest from a long and wearing drive. The night staff person was quick, courteous, and efficient.

This is a remodeled property that feels like new. There's a spacious, pleasant lobby with places to plug in your devices, and ample parking including for small trucks. The breakfast was good. The neighborhood is mostly motels, very quiet, but there's an interesting deli nearby that is run by enthusiastic young people.

Best customer service we’ve ever experienced at a hotel that wasn’t a resort! The room was cooled for us upon arrival which was great since it was a 100° day. The bed was super comfy and all the appliances were new. We wish they were a national chain so we could stay in another room like it!
