A lovely and beautiful place. Very well cared for, with flowers at the entrance, very clean, nicely decorated with a local touch (not too much). A beautiful and clean garden where you can sit, eat, drink tea work or relax; a comfortable reception and a lovely, comfortable and quiet breakfast room. Tasty breakfast. The samovar and tea are available all day. The room was spacious, cool (pleasant change to the heat outside), very neat and clean, the bathroom the same. I consider the beds comfortable, yet be aware of the fact that in Uzbekistan they are usually harder than in Europe. The interior decorations are flawless. The family running the hotel is very kind and welcoming. The neighbourhood is quiet since it is about 30-35 min walk from Registan (or 1.5 USD for a Yandex taxi), but safe. We felt very very well there. It was the best accommodation we had in UZ. We strongly recommend the place.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days, the impressions are great, you feel at home in the hotel, the breakfast is delicious, the staff is ready for everything, there are a lot of restaurants and cafes around, they gave us free lemon tea and national sweets made us very happy. Walking distance to Registan Square, Gur Emir, Bibikhanum and other historical sites, and we liked how close it was.

We had a really lovely stay. Vasiev is a small and new hotel, only been up and running for about 2 months. It was really great to chat with Ali, who spoke excellent English and gave great recommendations. We felt completely at home, there is a central place where you can use their kitchen/microwave etc. There is a market/bazaar nearby and fun to be able to make our own breakfasts/lunches when we had been travelling for a long time. The room was also spotless and spacious. The staff also did our washing, and it came back absolutely impeccable.
The area is also great - being in the Russian area there is excellent local restaurants/cafes (not touristy) nearby, students hanging out in parks, and also lots of greenspace to go running. Also not too far from Registan, very walkable. Yandex is also very cheap to travel further north to the other areas
