Les 4 Saisons is a wonderful apartment on a quiet spot in the town of Sarlat - la-Caneda. It is well situated to many of the places we wanted to visit such as the "Beaux Villages" along the Dordogne River. Rocamadour and many chateauxs, gardens and castles. Sarlat's medieval town was wonderful with many places to dine and shop. We especially like having a kitchen for a few days and the ability to wash some clothes. Out host was wonderful and helpful in out navigating of the area.

Wow - this place is fantastic and very highly recommended; spacious, comfortable and with everything we needed for our family stay to explore the area. And it is so very close to town (literally a couple of minutes walk) and yet is peacefully quiet too - in an almost rural setting, with the very welcoming Jo and Steve on hand to help and advise us as required. From the welcoming bottle of wine as we walked in - to the thank you lavender bouquet when we left it was perfect.

Lovely peaceful location, in a beautiful region of France, but also very close to Sarlat. The gite had everything and was perfect for a couple. It was so great to even have our own little fenced-off patio in which we could let our dogs out freely - also the use of the lovely wooded garden which was completely fenced. We'll definitely be back!

The large kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The unit was spacious, stone walls, beams on ceiling and a totally private outdoor space, beautiful views from windows. The grounds are huge and gorgeous! . The (unheated) pool was the perfect temp. Proximity to sites is excellent. The hosts are wonderful! Cannot say enough about our total experience.

Sophie met us at the property and was very welcoming. She also owns the shoppe below that had a great variety of gifts. This was our 4th stay in Beynac but the first time at this apartment. Needless to say, it is quite magical with exceptional views. Sophie has the apartment quite complete with anything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay and it is very clean and quiet. The walk to Lucco’s Boulangerie Patisserie and Chocolate shop, grocer and butcher is a short walk down and a nice climb on return (to burn off those Croissant calories 😋😊). It is always magical to walk about the Chateau and area late day, evening and early morning when it is completely quiet.

The heated pool, the unbelievable breakfast, but especially the owner Quaffra and her charming husband made our trip so enjoyable. She booked all out restaurants and ever one better than the other. We enjoyed it so much we stayed another night. I can recommend this place if you like being well minded with delicious food in a beautiful French house.
