The place was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The hostess and her brother were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a small quiet town, with few options for public transportation or ride share, but it's no problem if you have a car.

Both the place and service level was that of a 5-star luxury resort. Very beautiful and modern property, with spacious common areas. They have a gorgeous pool surrounded by nature, and they are building a spa and indoor pool. We notice that even the little things like coffee machine and pots were from a good brand. They did not spare any expense to make their guests feel comfortable. The service from Anna was impeccable, she was welcoming and helpful with suggestions.

Beautiful property with everything we needed for a short stay. In fact, we’d love to have stayed longer. Everything about it was perfect, from the welcome we received from the owner to the facilities. The pool was amazing and a real highlight but having a well appointed kitchen and good size, comfortable bedrooms made a difference too. Evenings spend on the balcony and patio will live long in our memories.

Wonderful family business...Rute (Ruth - Hootee) & Pedro are your hosts...honest, hard-working, and eager to make your stay very special. Dinner at VillaSete is a must..3-4 courses (25€/person) everything from scratch and garden. Pedro alternates fish/meat dishes nightly...Excellent green/white/red tables wines with port/aquadente or coffee to finish... daytime - relax by the pool...under cherry/orange/lemon trees.

We had a beautiful stay in this cute cottage-like home (kind of even felt a bit hobbit-like). The house and surrounding property are charming and magical. I especially loved the kitchen with its entire side of glass overlooking the front garden. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals, should you wish to. And the owner, Sergio, was so great! He helped us organize our day trip to Arouca516 and the Passadicos de Paiva (also recommend if you're into adventure and nature excursions). And in case you're wondering, the whole house is for you (the pictures of just the bedroom had us wondering before we booked.

The service from all the staff was exceptional. The location was outside the hustle & bustle of the busy cities, so very relaxing. Yet it is within 30 minutes of them, so great location.
