We were very touched by the kindness shown by the entire team of the house throughout our stay. The house is perfect, very comfortable, equipped to the best and located in an enchanting setting. We took advantage of the swimming pool and the garden as well, just as pleasant as the rest of the rental. We congratulate the owners on this very beautiful restoration that they have made of this old house, highlighted by this superb surrounding land. We will not fail to tell those around us, to friends who would be tempted to visit this beautiful region of the North of Portugal, but also, via Booking.com, to future tenants of these houses.

The house is full of character and in tip-top condition. From the outside it looks like it always did, but inside it is spacious and comfortable with great facilities, and an intriguing mix of modern and original features, such as the glass wall of the bedrooms looking at the original "feature wall". This does mean the are several steps and very low external doors. It is nice and quiet and very private despite being only a minute or two's drive from the main road, giving quick access to Melgaço and anywhere else along the river.

Old historic house with modern comfort. Staff friendly and helpful. Room heated before we arrived, good breakfast but needed to ask.

Fantasic relaxing quinta with nice pool and comfortable apartment. Wunderful nice and hekpful hosts and to our surprice fridge full with breakfast items etc also fresh bread delivered every morning. Travelling round nothern Portugal for 3 weeks this was the best stay we had.
