The breakfast was standard French continental, but that was as expected. It was a little way outside Cluny itself - easily walkable in principle, but unlit after dark. The view across the fields to the Abbey and the Burgundy hills was idyllic, but a little restricted from the bedroom itself. The Saint Lazare suite we had was beautifully furnished, and very reasonably priced. The on-site proprietors were very friendly and spoke very clear French.

The location is excellent near Tournus, and hosts Christel and François are charming and hospitable. Highly recommend.

The history of the chateau is fascinating and we had a lovely day exploring the area. Highly recommend this lovely bed and breakfast and we definitely want to stay again.
