We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

We truly felt welcome and the host & especially the lady who took care of us the whole stay where great. Awesome self cooked dinner and fresh chestnuts which where picked up in their own gardens as an add on tasted delicious. A place to be not only sleep! Thank you and we will recommend you for sure.

The owners/hosts made the experience absolutely wonderful. The port wine tasting and dinner experience was one for the books. The property was gorgeous,clean and well maintained.

We were very well welcomed to the property by the owner and had some homemade products waiting for us. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Totally recommend this place to stay.

Casa de Campo das Sécias is located in Vilas Boas, which a part of popular Vila Flor. Host very helpful in allowing me to use her printer to print boarding passes. Breakfast was not just the standard continental bread and coffee, but included fruit, cereals, range of breads and toast and condiments and cheeses, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Room was large. Area is very quiet.
