The purpose of my visit was "Brazzeltag" at the Museum Technik had a great two days ,at the same time I visited the Cathedral .The only disappointment was the City museum which has three exhibitions on for which you have to pay extra the main museum is closed so missed seeing the very old bottle of winePeterUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Stayed in Speyer several times - the Technical museums in Speyer and Sinsheim are excellent. Stuttgart is not too far away (Mercedes and Porsche Museums). Speyer has a lovely cathedral and centre is great for a walk (nice bars and ice cream shops).

The place has quite a lot to offer. Unfortunately I could not find a walking tour and at the Museum everything was in German, so I missed much. Speyer would benefit of more a touristic infrastructure.

The staff at the Cathedral Information Office are very helpful, polite and friendly. The Cathedral employees are also very relaxed, and I appreciate this--just go to other places where the sacristan or the mother superior act as though they own the church. Siter Raphaela Buscher OP gave us a wonderful tour of Saint Edith Stein's memorabilia, and the new postulant, Jenny Kunz, interpreted in English. It was a highlight and a pilgrimage I hope to share with my other catholic friends.

The city is like from a fairy tale. Museums , Rhein river , villages around the city, famous and maybe ( not sure ) the oldest magnificent cathedral, and two cathedrals more, just in case you have some spare time to visit them.AAnonymousSerbia

We really liked our room/bathroom (especially the rainforest shower head) and the room amenities: Nespresso maker, complimentary water, bathrobes and slippers. We enjoyed the courtyard and thought breakfast was exceptional and a good price. The staff was wonderful. The hotel location perfect. The brewery was amazing. We liked the option for free hotel parking. And we really appreciated the convenience of the Covid testing center at the hotel. The hotel dog was adorable!

It is just a few mins walk from P+R, there are few restaurants outside. The hotel itself is good for short business stay. The hotel staff is very polite, the hotel serves a nice breakfast buffet in basement. I arrived late but the instructions to get the room keys were very clear and straightforward.
