La Seu d´Urgell is a very nice town in the Catalan Pyrenees.
La Seu d´Urgell is a very nice town in the Catalan Pyrenees. Close to the Andorran ski resorts and national parcs. It has a very nice Olympic wild water park and a very nice quiet and peaceful environment. You can walk, cycle, ski, climb, find organic herbs, or simply be quiet and take it all in.

Old part of the town was lovely and you could walk around it easily. There was a park that was used for the 1992 Olympics for the canoeing events.
There was a lack of restaurants open in the evening especially on Sunday.

The hotel is in the middle of this nice town, with a few parking spaces in front of it. On Saturdays there is a local market in that street and then you can not park there and have to walk 5 minutes to a (free) central parking spot.
The room was fine with the largest bed I've ever seen in hotels with a width exceeding 2,5 meters...
Breakfast was OK. Lovely the heaters they have at several places.
The hotel is well positioned to explore the town. It provides secure undercover parking for motorcycles. The restaurant is very good offering a choice of traditional and local dishes. The reception staff are very helpful and resolved a problem with booking without fuss. The restaurant staff are very pleasant and attentive.
The staff were able to cook us an english breakfast of sorts which wasn't listed. The hotel is reasonably well located with underground parking down a side street. There are outdoor bars and an excellent curry house close by. The rooms were clean and well maintained.
We stayed here during the holidays as we are a big family and did not have room in my aunt's house. The hotel is simple but comfortable. The price was very reasonable for the location and amenities. The room was clean and the staff were very hospitable and kind.
I have wanted to stay at a Parador for some time, sadly this wasn’t one of the historic building Paradors, but nevertheless it was an excellent hotel with an impressive central seating area and an excellent restaurant.
