Well located and good enough for a road trip stop with the family. It is a very quiet location, good for resting.
Allowing pets was a plus for us, because we travelled with a cat.
Located in the city center, on the banks of the Dordogne River, the hotel welcomes you all year round whether you are on a business trip or on holidays.

Peaceful and quiet. As clean as the best I've had.

Lots of room, very clean, well appointed with everything needed. Good location near the train station, but within walking distance to the main pet of town & the river
Libourne is a total delight, just do NOT stay at the Hotel...
Libourne is a total delight, just do NOT stay at the Hotel de France. The river front is quite lovely and the people friendly. It's a very appealing town. Everything that you want seems to be very central.
never stayed at such a delightful residence. completely different set up than an average hotel the attention to detail from clearly an artistic host was second to none. no tv which was nice as room filled with random picture books. so relaxed and divine. the bed was sooo comfy and the rooms just lush. the host was lovely and well the breakfast set up was something else. this place close to town and station made our holiday despite torrential rain. happy memories of a beautiful property
Clos Bernon is a tiny bit of heaven that borders the river in a bucolic and peaceful part of France. The view was extraordinary! Our rooms were spotless; the bathrooms were brand new. Eveline made a beautiful breakfast for us and wanted to please us in every way. This is true France; the kindest people, the most beautiful settings, and service of the highest degree. Merci beaucoup mon chere amie! Thank you for making us a small part of your life.
We stayed at la Maison Mulato in Libourne for 4 nights. The hosts were welcoming and Corinne cooks an excellent breakfast. The place is located near the centre of Libourne and at about 40 mins from Bordeaux. The hotel is a period property that has been recently renovated with fine decor by Corinne, interior designer and architect, also owner of the estate. A beautiful place to stay near Bordeaux
Céline the host was fantastic - gave us great recommendations (restaurant, private chef, farmers market, swimming lake and hiring bikes for a wine tour) and was so responsive to every query.
The swimming pool area was amazing and every time we drive up to the house we were blown away by the setting in the vineyard. The location was great being close to Libourne and St Emillion.
The whole experience was wonderful. From the welcome we received to the wine tasting to the beautiful room.
The breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to have use of the kitchen. Thank you for trusting us with your beautiful Chateau.
I can’t recommend this place enough!
We went into Libourne to have a meal at Cosy Tourney which I would totally recommend too.
The staff were excellent and the house was very comfortable and very French!
Laurent and his family made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was outstanding and a great way to start the day.
The house was located very close to the train station. Libourne was an unexpected town the we very much enjoyed.
We loved staying here.
Beautiful Property.. The rooms are stunning beds very comfortable.. great location 15 mins by car to Saint Emilion .. very easy .. The couple that own the house could not be more helpful and accommodating! Wonderful place with pool whirlpool and sauna… and super breakfast ! Had a great stay !!
A slightly faded but really old-style grand French Hotel with loads of character and (for me at least) charm. Staff helpful, parking onsite a massive plus. And perfect location just on the edge of the Old Town so walking into town restaurants etc. I'd recommend it but it is quirky.
Beautifully decorated Maison with amazing breakfast, so close to St Emillion. Libourne itself is so charming.
The owners are super hosts, they make sure we are having a great time, they gave us so many nice tips about places to visit.
Overall a perfect experience. ; )
A little home from home - very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a small problem with our hire car whilst staying in the property the owner was incredibly helpful and supportive - would recommend you stay here if visiting Libourne
It was very close to the railway station. We got very clear instructions on how to access the hotel and our room as we arrived after reception had closed. The room was very quiet and the bed comfortable.
Amazing stay, great breakfast and nice people. Good location close to all the vineyards. Very much a family vibe at the place. Nice free coffee and snacks.
Super clean, location is fantastic, host is very friendly and responsive. Libourne is great city in particular on market days and I will stay here again.
