A perfect location for visiting the main hospital in Lyon, a 10 minute walk although with lots of steps. Artisan boulangerie 5 minutes walk. Lidl 10 minutes walk for basic provisions. A couple of restaurants nearby.

It is a high rise, high density inner city accommodation area with all the problems you would expect. The people we met however were lovely and friendly and the market held every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday had some great produce.Mike - 2.0Scored 2.0
I highly recommend the hotel.
I highly recommend the hotel. The hotel indicates there is an air conditioner but it does not work. The receptionist is told that the guy who operates air conditioners is not there and the air conditioner can not be turned on, but in the lobby and in the dining room the air conditioner works. You may not be paying for a room with an air conditioner and you get a room with no air conditioner. Unable to sleep hot and sweating, in short horror.

The idea of opening with a code is good. The kitchen is well equipped with the daily needed ustensiles for our stay. Close to the tgv station (15mns walking distance) and few meters away from a main bus stop. If you are coming to Lyon and prefer not to stay too close the the busy area yet in a very easily reachable zone well accommodated this place is what you are looking for.

Especially we want to note the place where it is located. We can confidently say Villeurbanne is the best place to live and relax in Métropole de Lyon. There is nearby a metro station, tram stop, bakery, church. You can always walk to a huge city park, with a botanical garden and a zoo. And also - to the Part-Dieu train station.MIKHAILRussia

There is a lot of space in the parlour, accompanied by a nice and large balcony, where there is enough space even to have an outdoor breakfast. The location is very close as to the center, so to a wonderful park la Tête d'Or. I definitely recommend and would stay here again, should I return to Lyon.AnastasiiaRussia

The bed was dirty and unmade. The towels in the drawer had blood stains. There were also mouse feces on the towels. There was not any toilet paper. No closet. No refrigerator in the "kitchen." It did not remotely match the Booking description. I have never experienced a similar situation.

The free parking was great because we wanted to use public transport to get around the city so we left the car in the parking during the whole stay. The communication with the hosts was great although it was weekend. Would certainly like to stay there again next time when we stop by Lyon.
