Skala is a really lovely place, with fantastic restaurants, cafes and bakeries. The food is really reasonable and Skala is easy to get around. We got the bus up to Argostoli for the day and it was really good to go up and see there again. The buses are a bit limited this time of year but we got a taxi back and it was well worth it for a full day up there. Skala is a really friendly place and you are made to feel so welcome. it is such a lovely place to visit and see with stunning views and lovely people.

It’s a great location.
It’s a great location. It has bars and restaurants but not big night life. Which I like. More family and friends & couples. Which makes the area even more special. No big groups of party etc. Any restaurant on the square is great. Air conditioning in all rooms, parking place, shower outside to get rid of sand when coming from beach, in one sentence "the perfect place to stay when in kefalonia". Hosts were very kind, they even served us with vegetables from their garden.

The hotel has easy parking right across the street. Easy check-in, good breakfast, and a nice bar right across the street. The hotel is also close to the main street, so walking there was very easy.

Plus traditional Greek cake and pastries. The Beach is within a 2 mins walking distance with plenty of sunbeds. The beach is sandy below the hotel but is rocky in either direction.
