This was a great little place for my family to stay. The location is excellent and the hostess was very friendly. Both apartments were very clean and had everything we needed. The only bad thing is that the stay was too short!!! would love to go back and spend more time in the cute little town of Agia Marina, because it was a great way to spend d our first few days in Greece!
Located in Agia Marina Aegina, a 10-minute walk from Agia Marina Beach, Apollo Resort has accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

Souvala is a quiet and small village with a little sandy beach to swim. There are some supermarkets and a lot of cafes and restaurants. Aegina town is approx. 20 min away by the bus (it costs 1.60 EUR) and only 2 times a day. Bus timetable is available in https://www.aeginaportal.gr/ktel.html

Small and quaint with small selection restaurants, hotels and a bakery. 2 beaches 1 with sand and beach bar, the other is where ferry ports and is small but with plenty of shade. You need a car to explore the island as souvala is very small

Souvala is a quiet little village and harbour but very pleasant for a short trip. We stayed just one night as a break from Athens and the ferry to Aegina Town was a relaxing way to arrive.
Aegina Town is more sophisticated, but Souvala had a number of restaurants that looked good.
The little beach was mainly used by local families and retired people so it was pretty quiet and had charm. We had a great brunch at the Azure Beach bar and would recommend Saronikos Restaurant for dinner - lovely food (try the local pistachio pesto) and wine - reasonable prices - and right next to the sea with a fantastic view.

We have travelled a lot and this is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. We were treated like royalty by all. WE were right at the end of the season but there were still several restaurants operating with great dining alternatives.

Souvala is the second big port of Aigina island.
Souvala is the second big port of Aigina island. It can be easily accessed by ship from Piraeus and it is located only 7-10 kilometres away from the city of Aigina. Although it is a small region of Aigina, it remains a very lively place. Especially at night, you can see the local restaurants and coffee shops full of people.
The public transport, though, available is not always so punctual and the taxis are not so easy to contact either.

If you arrive at Soulava Port, there are no taxi's readily available, especially if you need one to get to your destination.
There is a bakers, supermarket, cafe and approx 8 restaurants by the Harbour.
Also the Hotel Ixahippia has a restaurant on site for evening meals
Everything was EXCEPTIONAL! We stayed for 3 nights and didn't want to leave! The complex is so beautiful with multiple spaces to chill out. The beach was perfect for us and great for snorkelling. The room was so sweet and we were able to cook small meals. Our view was heavenly. Roula and Spiros were great hosts and so friendly. Vaggelis is a master mind! His design and details for the hotel is just superb. The whole experience was ZEN! We are already planning to come back next year. Thank you Vrachokipos. WE LOVE YOU!!!!
the hotel is comfortable, with al that you need: air conditioning, phon, kitchen, frigdaire and balcony. The position is perfect: 50 meters from port and downtown and 150 meters from the beach. Nikos and his mother are lovely and completly available: they help us more that one time for small problems. if we want to write something negative: the bathroom is a little bit small but if you consider quality-price this accommodation is top ( and i would like thanks them for aegina's pistachios...)
Everything was great! beautiful people beautiful location! The pictures don't do it justice. If you like small relaxing atmosphere this is it. Only 20 minutes to Aegina port and 5 minute walk to market. Food was authentic and great service. Spyros was very helpful to book our taxi's and anniversary dinner was the best! Would definitely recommend to stay here the ocean is so blue and private beach is steps away! Family run resort and they all take good care of you!
The views!!!!!!
We really liked the view, really stunning! And our host was very nice and always happy to accommodate our requests.
The hotel is lovely, the room was big, nicely furnished and very cozy, with a superb view over the pool area and the Aegean Sea. The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the port of Souvala.
The breakfast was very good, plenty and more than enough choices were provided every day.
Looking forward to coming back to Mistral!
The main pool was lovely, plenty of comfortable sun loungers to go around.
We were room only, so didn’t have breakfast however we ate at the hotel one evening and the food was delicious.
Room was large and we had a kitchenette in ours, the fridge was handy , and the added toastie machine made making lunches easy.
Very short walk to the beach however a little incline on the way back, so may prove difficult if you have walking difficulties.
This is a perfect hotel. First of all the hosts who are a wonderful family who are there and answer every question and always with a smile. The location is perfect on the sea with a view from every location in the hotel, a swimming pool (we were afraid of the sea salt but it didn't bother the children)..great breakfast. It was a dream vacation, we felt like home and didn't want to leave! We'll be back for sure
Owner was really nice and helpful on everything. Property is in Souvala so about 8-10 mins by car to Aegina center. But we loved that this area was rather small and very calm. If you’re staying couple of nights in the island we would definitely recommend it. You will anyways need to roam around the island for nice beaches… Souvala still has couple of nice restaurants and a small beach.
location was in a small fishing village, which is great if you are looking for a quiet place, away from crowds. The hotel is located at a higher place, over a hill and has parking spaces opposite the entrance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the sea view from the room was great and the family room was spacious. Aigina main town/port was around 15 min drive so very close by.
The host was wonderful and went way out of his way to show us hospitality. He prepared a very generous breakfast for us, and also moved our room to one with a better view without us requesting it. He was very kind. The hotel is simple but in a nice location. Souvala has a picturesque harbor, with nice taverns along the water, where we could eat and enjoy the sunset one evening.
Vangelis was so kind and helpful. The property is beautiful and unique. A path leading to a beach with private areas for sunbathing is beautiful. I sat in the natural pool filled with sea water and enjoyed swimming. It is walking distance from the Souvala port with a bus stop close by to go see Aegina town. I highly recommend and will be returning again.
It was the best place I stayed in Greece, really easy to reach, we went by bus, bust stop is just at the end of the road, and it was such a good idea to escape the crowd in the Aegina. We had whole little beach for us, and it's great to have swimming pool, it was big and clean. The owner of the hotel was lovely, very helpful.
The home was very nice and cosy and had great views of the ocean. We ate at the local cafe’s. We were able to get quick and affordable taxi service to the Aegina Port to shop and eat. There is numerous restaurants in the Port area. It was too windy to swim at the beach in Souvala, but we did swim at the the port.
The staff at this place were incredible and so friendly. The owner gave me an amazing recommendation for dinner, was the best meal I had in Greece! They were caring, kind and considerate. The room is basic, but provides exactly what you need for your holiday. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
