a nice town with an old part behind the walls. lots of greenery, parking lots and bars, walking paths and restaurants.During the day, we walked around Okpliška, in the evening we came to the city for dinner and to the accommodation to rest. we ate at pizzeria Rosso vivo. I have never had a better pizza, the price was not too high either. The food at La Torretta was also very tasty.

Chianciano Terme is a quaint little southern Tuscany town with great restaurants, little streets and beautiful architecture. It's a great gateway to many other local towns such as Montepulciano, Pienza, San Gimignano among many others. There are thermal sources nearby such as San Filippo and great hikes such as la Foce. Florence is a 2 1/2 - 3 hours drive depending on traffic.

The museum is amazing!!!
The museum is amazing!!! We were hoping to visit a thermal pool but the one
we went to (Theia) had so many rules and was so expensive for the amount of time we wanted to stay that we left. (The staff there could have been friendlier.) It’s probably better to go if you have several hours to spend. Also, as Americans from Montana, it was stressful and confusing trying to figure out rules for parking. Chianciano is nicely situated for day drives to other beautiful spots in Tuscany and Umbria.

The reviewers should estimate positively the items that are not advertised in the hotel offer at booking.com, ie some "value added" items, and for us it is balcony and the ceiling ventilator... and also I think that the room size had more (even without balcony) than just 16 square metres as advertised at booking.com.
I spoke a little Italian so the landlord Gianny and I could understand each other...however either his wife or his son were always in the vicinity so they could also translate...
Breakfast was from 8am but Gianni kindly offered us to have it from 7:30am if we wished so...
He often weared the mask, and always did at our breakfast so he really kept the anti-covid measures.
I don't like estimating location because the guests themselves can choose BEFORE THE RESERVATION if it is "far from the centre/beach/bus station/..." so I find stupid to say in reviews that it was "too far"...

Chianciano, as a city, looked pretty deserted, like a tornado went through. Covid probably affected the tourism in the area. Nobody is investing in jotels too much. However, for Terme, I like that it was clean, the made cleaned up every day, and the breakfast was decent (compared to Alexander Palme which is awful). Parking is available around the hotel and the staff in general was friendly. I did not use the spa, but I heard people having fun in the evening. It has a restaurant, which is convenient since most things are closed in Chianciano.
Excellent boutique hotel, fabulous service from Cristina and her team. They went above and beyond to cater to the gluten free request and Cristina suggested a perfect itinerary for us each day. Breakfast and coffee was good, bed was comfy. There are many surrounding landmarks and towns and villages that we drove to. The garden view room was worth the extra and the rooftop hot tub was an added bonus! There is a fabulous looking gelato shop up the road which was open until late but we didn’t get to try.
We loved everything about this authentic agriturismo... from the moment we arrived we were greeted with the warmer welcome, it continued throughout our entire stay and was truly one of our favourite stays here in Europe, if you're thinking about it- just do it, this beautiful family is so genuine in everything they do... Tomaso takes so much pride in everything that he does and his parents have taught him so well. Andrea's cappuccinos were the best in Italy 🇮🇹
Beyond amazing! Tomasso and family were the best hosts we have ever had. They made the whole time wonderful, breakfast was so far beyond our expectations. Do not plan on rushing out in the morning or you will miss out on an amazing experience. We went in May before the pool was opened, but we did get to experience an evening sipping wine and soaking in the hot tub (wood fired!). The stellar reviews are all true, great people, don’t miss out.
Friendly reception at the hotel, the views from the room balcony were great and even better from the wonderful roof terrace where the pool is located. The room and hotel were clean, even if they are somewhat dated. The breakfast ingredients such as the cakes and croissants were excellent. Good value for money. Nice underground car park that is safe and keep the car cool.
Nice, spacious apartment. Great breakfast (ask for eggs, cheese etc, they only serve delicious sweets, but more hearty options are available on request). Breakfast staff is friendly and speaks English. Good location, near the old town of Chianciano and close to Montepulciano. Nice hammocks to relax in. Beautiful view of Chianciano from the pool.
Great staff. The lady with the lovely ringlets on reception could not have been kinder as was the waitress at breakfast. There was a wide choice of breakfast dishes, both savory and sweet.
The hotel is pretty close to the old town and really close to the 'Terme' and we were able to park on site which is always a plus.
This place is brand new and is very comfortabel. we loved the room which was very spacious (they gave us a free upgrade😃) and well appointed. The pool with the view is amazing and the best spot to enjoy the tuscan sun.
Renata met us at the property. Let us check in early. Very friendly host. She gave us a lot of information on where to visit, and special events in town. She also brought us pastries every day. Thank you Renata!
We stayed here for 1 night. Property ran by home owner. What a humble lady. She made sure our stay is comfortable. Free parking at hotel. Nice breakfast. Air con is good and room was clean. Value for money.
The Employees were extremely nice and welcoming. We could use.the Spa (one Sauna and a Whirlpool) for one hour exclusively. The surrounding area is very quiet and the view from our balcony was stunning
Andreas and his brother Fabio were the kindest, most helpful staff I have encountered in a while! Anything we needed, everything we asked for was available to us in no time. Excellent service!
