We were impressed by the exceptional hospitality of Alexandra and Manuel, who made us feel like guests in their own home. The rooms are cosy and well-equipped, and the property offers the convenience of a spacious ski room, onsite parking, and easy access to ski lifts and public transport. The breakfast was delicious, featuring high-quality, locally-sourced products, and the natural wine bar had an excellent selection. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

We loved the staff, the breakfast, the tea time, the room, the hotel, and basically everything that was offered! The hotel is a quick 15-20 min walk from town, and we did not have a car and navigated it very easily. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff was so accommodating. They also offer a free shuttle to and from the mountain for skiing so you don't have to lug all of your belongings with you. We also loved the sauna. Comfy bed, big room, great view. Would definitely go back! Very friendly and accommodating environemnt.

The town of Ortisei is a very typical Sud-Tirolean Alpine with lots of wood in use throughout the town for building and local wood carvers. It is a very quiet and peaceful town. Up the road Selva is a more geared towards younger people with lots of apres-ski bars and outdoor music events and bars etc. If you are up for a quiet and relaxing stay, which has lots of nice restaurants and shops, this is it.

The place is excellent — it was my 4th ski travel to this area (Ortizei, Selva di val Gardena), the only huge issue is that there is no direct connections from major airports — Milano, Bergamo, Verona (you could make from one of those). If you don't rent a car — the travel is ridiculous long and require several connections. Comparing to Andorra — there is regular direct bus connection right from the Barcelona airport to Andorra and across Andorra cities+villages (busses and shuttles). I don't understand why this area did not organised something like that, because you built HUGE ski infrastructure and made it complicated to reach it by travellers.

Ortisei is fine to overnight there, but what is much better is to use cable car and to go up to the mountains around. And not only in Ortisei but also in Santa Catarina and Selva...
This is really unforgettable.

Ortisei is a very cousy little village. The main street is packed with shops and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance and there's plenty of choices. Not too crowded, but not a ghost town either. Just perfect for a laid back family vacation.

This hotel exceeded all expectations.
This hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff was top notch, all areas were very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Wonderful breakfast with excellent service and amenities. I highly recommend Hotel Albion and look forward to another visit in the future.
Booked late as a single. Room was fine with great cleanliness standard and comfortable. Boot Room and storage facilities were fine and you walked out onto a veranda. You could walk to the piste and then ski to the drag lift to take you to the main Suisi lift or walk down to the bus station, 5 minutes, in the Piazza Antonio for the frequent bus to Selva or walk on through to the Seceda lift. Shower was great and the Breakfast good and plentiful, Entry was via a electronic card to the Hotel and room. Room was quiet.
Excellent hotel complex. Wonderful owners and staff who are completely immersed in the life of the hotel and creating comfort for its guests. Convenient and large two-level Parking. Very tasty and varied breakfasts and lunches, a wide wine list. A large spa complex, where it was nice to relax after skiing. Both of our rooms were with stunning views of Ortisei and the Dolomites. The hotel is clean and cozy. Special thanks for organizing a wonderful New Year's dinner!
Fantastic little mountain hotel, truly ski-in/ski-out (if you are staying on Alpe di Suise side and skiing back on Pilar, on Seceda side, walking involved, but free shuttle is offered for return). Very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, ski gear storage, sufficient guest parking. Great communication with the hosts, and very helpful with late checkin and anything else we needed. We would absolutely stay here again when visiting Val Gardena area.
Loved everything about this hotel! The location is perfect with easy access to the lifts, the hotel is beautiful, well decorated and spotless. The room was bright and sunny with beautiful linens. The swimming pool and spa were also spectacular. We had dinner at the hotel and it was one of the nicest meals we had on our trip. There was a miscommunication over breakfast but the hotel made up for it with no issues. Best place we stayed in Italy!
This is the best place I ever stayed in Italy. Clean, well-equipped, good location and prefect views. The host is very nice, friendly and helpful. During our 3-night stay, he really helped us a lot: bus and swimming pool tickets are provided; he let us taste the best quality oil in Italy; and helped me to find my lost passport!! I definitely recommend this place to everyone who’s planning to stay in Ortisei. Best experience ever.
We stayed in Apt No2. Very cosy, very clean, warm and sunny with a breathtaking view. Everything was brand new. A short ride down the road directly into the centre of Ortisei or it is a pleasant walk with the beautiful scenery as well. Skibus stop directly next to the appartments, the timetable and the tickets provided by the host. The appartment is as described in the photos and the description, the hosts are accommodating.
The owner is really kind, he wants to help and give tips so that your stay is enjoyable. The location is close to the centre of Ortisei, it is a bit up the hill but via the garden you can go to / from the city without having to walk uphill. The kitchen looked brand-new and was super complete. We were here in summer, but I can imagine the location would be perfect for a winter (ski)trip too.
This hotel is beyond beautiful.
The family running the hotel are the most welcoming, nice, polite people I have ever seen in Europe.
The rooms are spacious, clean, stunning view.
They have a bidet in the bathroom.
Their cleaning service is really good.
They gave us complimentary jam jars when we left which was a very nice gesture.
Definitely we’ll come back to this hotel.
We loved our time at Casa al Sole. The room was beautiful and spacious, the location is excellent, only 5 min walk to center of Ortisei or the ski lifts. The breakfast beats any hotel breakfast we had before. Alex and Manuel really took care to make it a personal experience. We would love to visit again and highly recommend to couples or families.
I find this hotel as the most beautiful hotel I visited during my 3 weeks travel in Italy. The room is huge with extremely nice wood work. Very big windows with amazing breath taking view of exceptional landscape, mountains, green slopes. Breakfast was varied, fresh, home made and tasty. This is a place to return!
The location is the best. Very close to the Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm) and Seceda lifts. Right in the center of Ortisei, surrounded by shops and restaurants and in the same time quiet and comfortable. Very clean. Three super markets within 5 min walk. Ski rental in front of the building. Highly recommended.
I can't say enough good things about this hotel! It was easy to get to, very clean, the staff was great, wonderful breakfast, free spa, and they had excursions/activities everyday that were either free or at a reduced price. We did an ebike tour that was half the advertised price.
Very clean and warm apartment, breakfast also is very good. Hosts are very helpful and friendly.
if you are going for skiing there is bus stop just next to the guest house or you can use parking lot just under main ski lift in Ortisei for 0.50 euro per hour.
Buffet breakfast offered an excellent selection.
Staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable.
Hotel is in a peaceful location just outside Ortisei with plenty on-site parking and alternative bus transportation to the town itself.
The team is very welcoming and exceptional. The warm pool and the sauna with the mountain view are gorgeous. I enjoyed the fresh breakfasts and the afternoon buffets! 10 out of 10 I would recommend this hotel.
Clean, quiet hotel, with excellent location regarding the acces to ski lift.
Verry good value for money.
A place where we staied the 3rd time, and it will be for sure not the last time.
Perfect location. Skibus directly in front of the hotel. Cabins to slopes within the walking distance. Super pizzeria in the hotel:) All staff very pleasant.
