Balaclava is remote so no opportunity to walk anywhere. We were fine with a good dinner and the occasional musician but some might find it boring. We used a driver but if not then you’d need a car to get round the island. It was cyclone season so mixed weather but in general the North of the island has drier sunnier weather than the South.

Staff: super friendly!! Accommodation: clean 8/10, Bed: super comfortable, Dinner: very good but far to expensive for the island!! I really wouldn’t recommend the buffet for dinner! Breakfast is the only thing I’d criticize: no variety, no creativity, no changes, the quality of the food 5/10 Example: No pork bacon, vegetables: tomatoes and cucumbers ... that’s it, olives came picked and from the can... just not a 5 star Quality breakfast!!

Beautiful resort with views of the beach from the room. There was many things to do in the resort so one can spent all the time in the resort itself. The only problem we faced was with drinking water, it is delivered only once to your room and then only other option is in the room bar which can add to be really expensive. Otherwise highly recommended resort.

The food at breakfast was amazing, with all kind of smoothies and fruits. Also available a menu card for order. The beach was great to swim also clean. The concierge was super helpful and very knowledgeable about how to spend our time actively. The room services is also great. The cleaning was greatly appreciated by us, as whatever needs we had they were reacting fast and polite.
