Beautiful city for a long weekend of history, architecture, and eating and drinking. We spent a leisurely day each in the old town, cathedral island and the Kaiser's Castle/university area. problem with finding accommodation, the booking.com map shows a different address, one street next door. Upon arrival, there was no blanket and pillow, the room was not cleaned. It's similar to other Ibis franchises I've stayed in (e.g. in Germany), but it was more spacious and it felt a bit newer. Everything in the room worked perfectly, the breakfast was really varied and tasty, the staff will help you with anything, and check-in/check-out was super easy. I like the location too - from Poznan Glowny (the main station, which you can reach by bus from the airport) you can walk in 10-15 minutes, and this puts you on the edge of the Old Town.
