The location was perfect - very near Hidden Lake Gardens where we attended two events. The facilities were very clean and quiet - we got a good night's sleep.

Great location, just off the main roads. A breakfast was offered during announced hours but I did not partake as there were loads of outside options all around the area at timing I preferred. The staff was very cordial and went out of their way to be helpful. No language or accent issues here. Parking in the back lot just outside the rear entrance was not at all busy. There was plenty of space in the room and a fairly large refrigerator- larger than I expected. Microwave and a small coffee maker were also in the room.

I like having a whole house to myself. The house was clean and had all the amenities of your typical air bnb, including washer/dryer (although we didn't use it) without the price tag of air bnb. The host was quick to respond and made sure self check in was easy.
It's a beautiful turn of the century hotel. I enjoyed that it was mostly authentic. There's no elevator. Our room had television and cable, and a comfortable modern bed. Aside from that our room had no refrigerator or telephone. The furniture in our room was vintage and very nice. The staff is very friendly and everything we ordered from the reasturant was fantastic.
