Gulf Shores is a beautiful area. The residents were very friendly in every establishment we went to. We ate at a different restaurant each night and never had a bad meal. There were plenty of things to go and do during the day but we enjoyed relaxing on the beach each day.

We just loved the beach.
We just loved the beach. We also visited other areas like the USS Alabama and Fort Morgan. We enjoyed the beach as it was not super crowded, we spent an entire day on the beach and was able to rent an umbrella and chairs for the entire day (great price). We did want to fish, but were a bit confused as to where to do that. We thought the pier but it was closed. We also have a service dog and the beach stated no dogs (we do understand why) but then we got to the beach and see people walking their dogs? The beach is soft and white and just fun to play in as well. The water was chilly but it was early march. We did get in though...because its the beach! Lifeguards were on duty most of the days as it was quite windy and seas were really choppy a couple of days. We flew our kite, built sandcastles, looked for seashells. Took night walks on the beach. We found great places to eat. Ralph and Kakoos over by the USS Alabama, Acme Oyster company (chargrilled oysters are a must), and the Gulf shore Steamer.....OMGOODNESS BEST restaurant!!! We had a seafood platter for 4 (there were 2 of us) and yes we ate it all, crablegs, shrimp, oysters, muscles, corn, potatoes, appetizer of crab cakes. oh and some alcholic drinks...yessss! and topped it off with keylime pie! This was a great rip!

Plenty of dining and shopping locations, and great beaches.
Plenty of dining and shopping locations, and great beaches. Too many great dining places to name, we tried a different restaurant almost every day and all were great and reasonable priced. Getting around Gulf Shores was very easy walking, driving, or biking.

Beautiful home, awesome views of the beach, sand, and sunsets even though construction was going on. No doubt, wish they would have already been moved out, but we still got to enjoy ourselves. Plan to stay there in the future.

This is the perfect stay for us.
This is the perfect stay for us. I was so scared that it was too good to be true. But was amazed when we got there. We had everything we needed-full kitchen with everything needed within. We also had a washer&dryer. We had to do a little cleaning when we got there but I do that anywhere we go. The views were amazing. We will definitely be going back.
The hotel charged us through internet $345, comparable to a high end resort for 3 days each. when we arrived there it was immediately obvious the this was no 'resort' but a motel. The hotel immediately reduced our one day price to <$140, and we only stayed one night despite reserving for 3 nights, and both of their elevators were out of order! We checked out next day and stayed at Island House Double Tree Resort Hotel on the beach for $350 per night. I believe they were dishonest in promoting themselves like a 4 star hotel!
LWThe motel was very easy. to locate and the staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable with plenty of linings for the bed and bathroom. And for it to be a pet friendly motel it was very clean and no pet hair in the bed. The last time I stayed at a hotel the was pet hair all in the bed, so I'm very thankful for no pet hair in the bed..I would and did recommend your place to 2 different people and 1 stayed there to, ver all it was a very nice place and the door is a very small fix.
As we approach the hotel, we greeted with such warm hospitality. The staff is amazing. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. l loved our pool and beach view from the balcony. The fact that they are pet friendly is so wonderful. They have an area that the dogs can run and do their business. The beach is right there.
A big shot out to Jessica, Allison, Pat, Ruben,Dions, Brianna and Nicolette. You guys are so wonderful.
Every time that I visit Gulf Shores, I'm very excited to stay at Hotel Indigo. The ocean view is amazing, the hotel is always so clean. When you first walk into the lobby area, there's an amazing scent of freshness. The flowers are so beautiful, the entire property is well kept. My family and I was always greeted with a smile from the staff. Their service was outstanding!
The only thing I could say that I did like about this property I know now if we choose to come back or tell anyone else that we know coming.. don't bother spending all this money at this property, get a place across the street and just walk on through Best Western on the beach and you can party however late and loud you want.
The Lodge at Gulf Shores is at an incredible location, right on the beach. We had a room on the city view side, however, the views of the park and water inlet were great. There is a dog park right across the road from the hotel. One of the best we have been to with our dog.
Modern, updated space. Close to the beach and restaurants. 2 pools with one of them being adult only. Easy access to the condo and responsive staff. They provided soap and shampoo in case you forgot it. There was a small view of the ocean even though it was ocean front.
Hotel staff was professional resourceful, and my room was comfortable very clean
This hotel is minutes away from The Gulf Shores Beach. I definitely recommend this hotel it was reasonable for my price point.
There weren’t keys, just a key pad. Convenient location. Great price. The balcony had sliding glass doors, and w the weather being cool, it was nice to be protected yet still enjoy the beach from there
I love staying here. This is my second year going to gulf shores, and I love the hotel being not far from the beach and shops and also not far from Foley.
