“this was the icing on the cake after a lovely week in the province of Groningen ! Lovely and warm welcome by Annemarie ! She was intuitive and forthcoming , she noted quickly in what we were interested and provided good and helpful information on those subjects ( art galleries and local historical sites ) .The accomadations were magnificent and comfortable . Beautiful property which we enjoyed and admired . Very well kept and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on their immaculate terrace surrounded by beautiful landscaping . We had to leave prematurely due to family priorities but Annemarie and her husband ( Jelte ) were also very gracious about this unforeseen event ! We definitely plan to return ! Thank- you !!”

“We had a pretty good time staying one night at the hotel. The room was well maintained with recent improvements. The owner was extremely excited that we chose his hotel because we were visiting from the US. Much conversation comparing life in the local NL area, the adjoining DE, and our region of the US. It would have been good if we'd had another day with Arjan to compare notes. Arjan took the time to work with us on places to explore in the northern Netherlands that fit our background and interests. The adjoining restaurant was very good although it was a little strange just picking beef/chicken/fish and the chef going-at-it from there, with our input. We had fun in the restaurant too. Co-op next door.”
