The location in the forest reminded us a little of our own south-west of Western Australia and after travelling in cities for six weeks it was nice to be in the "bush". The central heating was awesome and this would be one toasty cabin in the depths of winter. Harold and Willie's dog Xila had six puppies that were 12 days old when we arrived. Cute plus :) Putten is a very pretty town and we easily did day trips to Amsterdam and the Hague. We'd happily stay again.”
