“I really enjoyed my holiday in the Philippines, and staying at the Overview made it really special. I had a room to myself (bedroom upstairs), and the facilities were great--a kettle, a fridge, water heater. The meals were excellent and diverse (both European and local). In the evening I'd sit on the terrace with a up of tea watching the fireflies and looking at the stars. BTW, the view from the hill where the hostel is located is breath-taking! The hotel is run by a family, and I felt like a family member: they showed me everything the island has to offer (on a motorcycle), gave me rides to the beach; every question was answered, every possible help was given. I also met a lot of interesting people from all over the world. When the owners found out my flight had been cancelled at the last moment, they took me to the airport and helped me get my flight rerouted so that I could reach home safely. I am happy I have such great friends now. I strongly recommend Overview to anyone who is staying at Bohol.”

“Large and comfortable room with AC + ceiling fan and large bathroom with big mirrors. Definitely worth the price! Centrally located inside the island. Owner offers a good deal for the rental of a motorbike, perfect to enjoy all parts of the island. Food options are limited on the island: pricy resort restaurants, one little snack open only for lunch, and some street BBQ in the evening. But the owner offers access to kitchen to cook yourself. Very friendly and always available for any question. I recommend.”
