“We’d make a detour in our route just to stay at this property again. We found this (deservedly) very highly-rated hotel when looking for a convenient location to stay on our way back to Germany from Visby after making the late ferry crossing. The owner is a superb carpenter, and very tastefully refurbished the entire hotel in splendid natural wood throughout. Modern, shic, and natural all at the same time. We felt like we were a guest in someone’s house. Immaculately clean. Superior beds, wonderful candlelight breakfast hosted by the owner featuring good coffee, a large selection of very tasty fresh food including yummy homemade jams. Wish we could have “hung out” for a couple days just to relax in the atmosphere. A very unique property to say the least.”
