• Rising high on Mount Bürgenstock, this early 1900s villa offers luxurious rooms with balconies and a heated infinity pool overlooking Lake Lucerne.

  “The view of the hotel is breathtaking 360; the infinity sauna pool is an excellent way to enjoy the spectacular view, particularly the sunrise and sunset. Personally, I would preferred the water temperature be a couple degree higher. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Check in was heartwarmingly easy at a real front DESK (or at the sofa area) where guest could sit down and relax while the check in process was professionally done by courteous staff. One could feel the special effort the hotel put in to make sure their guest could get to their room asap without appearing rushed. I am most impressed that the room was cleaned efficiently the next morning while we were at breakfast. Breakfast is to be ordered from the menu. Unlike the usual buffet, the feeling of being catered to by the staff is nice. We had dinner at hotel the first evening. Food and services all met expectations of a five star establishment. There is a simple dress code for the main dining room. I went back to my room to change but I did not mind. I was in fact glad about this. Old school it may sound, it is a nice reminder that once upon a time dinner can be a delightful event to be treated with respect. One could feel that the hotel management thought about every small details to tend to their guests. The only odd thing is our room did not have toothbrush kits. We had our own electric ones so we did not bother to ask for it which I am sure the hotel would gladly provide. Check out was a breeze with our car parked at the front door ready to go. As a HUBLOT fan, I loved the wall clocks and displays inside the hotel. I am lucky enough to have come during mid-season when the hotel is not very busy and was able to enjoy the sense of tranquility that the hotel transpires. It was also a god bless that the weather had turned out nice as well for the experience to be complete. Thank you everyone at the Villa for making our visit a special one.”
