  “I was met at the station and assisted to the ryokan, which really was just across the road. The room was amazing with the tatami mats and simple decor. My room was upstairs and had help getting my bag up into the room. I wish I had included the meal in my booking. Oh and if people are wondering about any language barriers, there weren't any. I can only say a few words in Japanese however, and perhaps thankfully host has fantastic English.”
