“Although my wife was on "business" to do paintings of the landscape in southeastern Sweden for the fourth annual visit, I photographed buildings and the landscape. The terrace from our hotel room and the huge patio overlooking the ocean were particularly appreciated in that the wide view of the horizontal perspective was uninterrupted. We enjoyed the various dining areas and the alternative but convenient summer scheduling which obviously was cut back to accommodate vacationing staff. As always it was great to park without charge nearby. The architecture itself is fantastic! Brent Porter”

“Fantastic hotel - incredibly friendly. I was staying there for Ironman Kalmar and the staff couldn’t have been nicer They really helped out those who are taking part in Ironman Kalmar: The day before the event they put on pasta buffet, on the day of the event they had breakfast available from 4am and after the event they put even out bananas and snickers . The food in Restaurant was a good quality with nice wines I great place to stay especially for those doing Ironman Kalmar. This was my 5th IM event and the best hotel for an IM by far!”

“Dinner at their restaurant was very much gourmet quality with a wonderful assortment. The staff knowledge of the dishes and wines was a step above what might typically expect, plus they were friendly and just plain wonderful to chat with. The hotel was such a pleasant surprise in terms of efficiency and quality and in the middle of a charming smaller town, just a short stroll from the town square and some wonderful waterside views.”
