Conveniently situated in the centre of Salvador, Hostel Galeria 13 provides air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. We slept in the ‘quiet house’ and the room was bright and well decorated. Not even in the slightest run down like some of the hostels and hotels we’ve stayed at. Beautiful hardwood floors and extremely clean with fresh paint and decor. Excellent breakfast, hospitable/helpful owner and staff and the restaurant that goes with the hostel has really great food. Location also can’t be beat.

Located in Pelourinho historic centre, this boutique-hotel is set on a XVII building. Surrounded by attractions and restaurants, it offers a breakfast in the room, assembled to each guests request. The location is perfect as right in the historic area of the city with restaurants and shops very close by. Our room had a lovely view from the balcony and was beautifully furnished. Our hosts Sandra and Marcos could not have served us better and gave good advice for places to visit. We enjoyed having breakfast served to us in our room
